Tips to Boost Your Job Interview Confidence

Recommended Answer:
They're a staffing agency. They hire employees and then send them out on jobs to various other companies who need temporary help.

There's no way to tell what job they would choose to send *you* out on.

Know Your Job Interview Skills

  • Careful. I can't find anything on this company.
The site was created in August of last year and run by an Indian guy
    Origination is the UK
No complaints, no comments, nothing else on this site.

Do not give them your date of birth, ss number, etc
Three possible ways they could scam you:
    - Steal your identity
    - Send you a fake check, then tap into your checking
    - Ask you to send payments upfront

Job Interview Questions: Any advice for my first job interview?

This Tuesday I have an interview at a kennel. I'm a little nervous, naturally. I am curious what I should be wearing to an interview. Would something such as a plaid button up shirt and dark-blue skinny jeans be okay? I don't want to under dress. I'm a 18 year old guy and a little on the shy side, but do you think they will have me working the front desk asking people if they need help right away?
Thanks for any advice. (Also this is my FIRST job and job interview.)

Impress Potential Employers By Getting Job Interview Practice

Recommended Answer:
If you are afraid of being underdressed, wear a suit. You can never go wrong with that at an interview - even if that isn't what you are wearing for the job, it IS appropriate for the interview.

Try to prepare for specific questions if you are nervous. Every employer will ask why you want to work there - so think about a couple of good things to say that are specific to the place, not general. They might also ask you about your good and bad qualities. Most importantly - show them that you really want the job.

For a shirt, a polo would look good, or a shirt that looks professional. make sure very little, or no cleavage is showing. then maybe some nice little heels you have, that don't look like hooker heels(With a ginormous heel). then for earrings, some cute simple, expensive looking earrings maybe, or just diamond studs.

Job Interview Questions: Is it a bad idea to go for another job interview to the same job that never called back?

I went on an interview six months ago and I stupidly told them I had another job so they never called me back. That was for a seasonal temp position. Now they are hiring permanently and I applied again and got another interview. Should I go or would that be stupid?

    Seven Job Interview Preparation Secrets

    Recommended Answer:
No, it is not stupid. you go and keep calling back if you don't get hired. also if they ask about you from before you tell them you did not know that the other job was part time until after you took the job.

Ten Tips For a Successful Job Interview

    • It is always worth a shot. If you are honestly interested, tell the interviewer how happy you are that they now have full time positions open because, you want to work there. It is actually a plus that you were interviewed before so you want to let them know and then let them know why this is different and you would now be able to accept a job with them.

    • From personal experience - It's not a bad idea!!!

    • well maybe you should go and quit that job if you do get hired

Job Interview Questions: What to put on a resume? How to scheduel a job interview?

I'm applying to a position for retail sales and in addition to a fast food place. What do you think I should put down?

Also, how do you schedule a job interview? Any advice?

5 Tips For a Successful Job Interview

    Recommended Answer:
Ummmm, the potential employer schedules an interview, not you.
If you have no previous experience (and I bet thats true from your question) a resume will do no good as that's what a resume is for...work history.

How to Prepare for a Successful Job Interview

    • You do not need a resume for each. Fill out the application, and they will call you if they are interested.

    • Resumes are not necessary for an entry level position that requires no experience. Usually the employer will know all they need to about you from the application itself. Now, if you have a degree and some experience working it is a great idea to have a resume even though your work experience may not be much it may show the employer you do have some experience...

If you were to do a resume what you should put is the truth.. usually resumes include you college schooling and achievements, your work history (usually divided into relevant (in this case would be retail) and other depending on the job you want)..

they would also include you objective.. for example "to acquire a position in retail sales"

and above all this info you would need to have your name, current place of residences, permanent place of resident and your phone number and email would be a good idea..

Dont worry about creating a resume go find a nice professional template and fill in your info, its that easy..

but again you do not need a resume unless you have something to show such as a degree or previous work experience..

And to address the interview.. only employers (typically the HR department) will call or email to set up an interview... which will either be a phone interview, a panel interview or just one on one with your soon to be boss..

      GOOD LUCK..

    • Here is all you need to do. Go into the place and ask to speak to the manager. Tell the manager who you are and that you are looking for a job. Ask if they are currently hiring and express that you would like to fill out an application. They will take it from there. Make sure you ask them when they will be interviewing for the position if they don't offer you an interview on the spot and make sure you follow up a few days after you put in an application.
