You tell them whether your gay or not.

Job Interview: Are You Sending Red Flags And Eliminating Yourself?

  • When you get there, it will come to you. I can't really tell you what to say, because I don't know what the interviewer will say. As for behavior? First thing you should do right when meeting the interviewer is to firmly shake their hand. Not enough people do that when first meeting them. Next is come in there with a smile on your face, it should be warm and inviting. Make sure your posture isn't all slouched. Sit up straight, place your hands on your lap. Make sure to be a bit talkative so they wont think you're a shy person. Try to make them laugh every so often! You want to be remembered, you want to stand out!

  • just make sure you can sell your self as best as possible and do a little research into the job you are applying for so you can give them good reasons as to why you want the job, the main tip to job interviews is confidence, make them think you are totally up for the job. use open body language never fold your arms. be friendly and honest, good luck :)

  • They want to know if you are good employee and can help the company. You need to convince them of that.

Job Interview Questions: Will a person generlaly offer a job to you after an interview if they're interesting in hiring you?

So, i have an job interview tomorrow at a nursing home for a dish washing job, and i'm wondering, if he doesn't hire me right after the interview does that mean he's not interested, or do they typically think it over then call you back if they want you? I've never been interviewed for a job before, the job i have now i just got bc my boss already knew me.

Job Interview Questions: How far along in an government job interview do they ask for fingerprinting and background checks?

I have a second interview and then fingerprinting afterward and I just want to see where I stand. Do government interviews usually ask technically questions (skills/concepts), or more behavioral? I'm so nervous!

Will You Be Ready For Your Next Job Interview?

Recommended Answer:
You can't quite lump "government job" into one category. If it's a standard, general schedule administrative and clerical government job, then you won't do fingerprints and fill out the background questionaire until after you're hired, but if it's a law enforcement job, they'll do the background check before they hire you. If it's a state government job, it will vary by state and by job, and the types of questions they will ask will also vary between the types of government jobs. I think most federal jobs are using behavioral situation questions now. "Tell me of a time when" and "what would you do if" types of questions. So it's hard to tell where you stand at this point, not knowing how many people they are interviewing for the same position, particularly.

Good luck at any rate.

Job Interview Skills: What Does The Employer Want To Hear?

  • if u got a second interview you pretty much got the job

since it is government it really is just checking your okay to work so not a spy, not convicted of crimes etc

at most they will ask a few normal questions

but congrats you pretty much have the job

  • well i work in the los angeles community college district (it's a government corporation) and they only wanted my fingerprints, soc sec and passport 0r , green card, citizenship thing...
