Job Interview Questions: What are some questions that I may be asked in a job interview?

I am interviewing for a teacher aide position at a high school level in a special needs classroom. I'm very nervous and trying to prepare. What are some questions that I may be asked and some possible answers? Thanks!

Things to Do in a Job Interview

Recommended Answer:
They may ask you if you have any questions at the end.

Always thank them for their time at the end of the interview.

Your so lucky to have a job interview. I just sent a letter of interest to a preschool special needs class. They already filled the position. I work as a substitute staff member within this school district. I can't even get a full time time.

Best of Luck.

6 Tips For a Successful Medical Device Sales Job Interview

  • 1. Why do you want to work with special needs students?
    2. Have you had any experience with special needs students?
    3. What skills do you bring to this job that will make it easier for the teacher and the students?
    4. Are you a patient person?
5 Do you like to succeed at something the first or second time you try?
    6. What is your goal for taking this job?

Job Interview Questions: I have a job interview tomorrow. How do i pass it succesfully?

It's a customer service job. In the past i've had interviews but failed miserably :(

Eliminate Job Interview Anxiety

Recommended Answer:
Be what they want you to be...

Remember, the secret to success is sincerity... once you can fake that you have it made.

Job Interview Tips You Can Use to Ace the Interview and Land the Job

  • Be cheerful and positive. No one likes a gloomy and solemn customer service representative. Unless you're working for a mortuary, I suppose. Try not to dwell on negative past experiences. Focus on your strengths as much as possible, and really let them know why you want to work in customer service. Mentioning that you are all about helping the customers is key. Mention it more than once, in different ways. When they know you are focused on helping customers, they will want to hire you. If you're just in it 'because it's a job and I need the money', you're not in it for the right reasons.

  • First thing you want to do is to chill out. If you get too anxious you won't be able to think straight and answers any questions.

Interviewers are usually looking for 3 things. They want to find people who are passionate, positive, and normal. So if you just go into the interview with a smile and act like your normal self you'll do just fine!

If you're looking for more help check out...

  • Just try not to be yourself, lol.

Edit: Seriously, be confident and smile lots if it's for customer service.

Edit: You don't have much of a sense of humor for someone with the name "LOL". Maybe you need to lighten up for the interview. I'm referring to the thumbs down you gave me.

  • stay positive and be confident during the interview.

  • Answer every question with an Indian accent

Job Interview Questions: Can you say something to encourage me going to my job interview?

LOL, this is probably the 55th interview I`ve been to.

The Top 10 Things You Must Do During a Job Interview

Recommended Answer:
I feel your pain. I have lost track of how many interviews I've been on this year alone. They are so nerve-wracking. As hard as it, really try to calm your nerves. The best thing is to be relaxed and be yourself. And definitely have questions prepared to ask. The interviewer always asks if you have any questions. I hate when I have nothing to ask. I just think it looks so much better when you have things to ask them.

Good luck!

Keys to a Successful Job Interview

  • Well, if you do something stupid, don't let it tear your confidence apart. A lot of people even simply cough and, because of chronic nervousness, lose sight of what they were saying/thinking and lose much of their composure. The best thing to do is to remain calm but expect to be nervous, it's going to happen whether you fight it or not. Be confident, well groomed, as intelligent as you can be and don't forget to throw a little humor in there at a tactful time. Good luck with this, I hate interviews...

Job Interview Questions: Teenage Job Interview Attire?

Hey, I was wondering what I should wear to a job interview. It's just for a part time job at a grocery store, so I thought dressing completely formal might make me look really out of place (the people who work there usually wear slacks and a collared shirt), but at the same time, I don't want to look too casual. I was going to wear a pair of somewhat dark (not baggy, clean, no styled holes, etc.) blue jeans, and a long sleeved, black, collared shirt. Do you think the jeans are too casual? Blehhhh. xO

The Proper Instruments For Passing the Job Interview

    Recommended Answer:
Well, jeans are usually a no no. Stick with the shirt and go with some slacks.
But, you're right about not being totally formal. No tie or blazer or anything. Make sure you are clean and well groomed and everything. But do not load up in cologne or any other smelly stuff.

    Good luck kid! :)

Job Interview Advice - How to Properly Prepare for a Job Interview and Get Hired

    • i actually disagree with everyone else. i think dark blue jeans and a collared shirt would be perfect. i'm not sure about black though... the reason i disagree is that at a grocery store they want you to look like you can look well groomed but still get your hands dirty. if you look like you are going to the prom they will think your mother got you this job and you lack experience. its always good to dress up one level from what you will be wearing at work. khaki is always fine though no matter what the occassion. so maybe try to match the pants that are typical with your new workplace and wear a nicer shirt. that way you will look like you could jump in and start working immediately and you still look professional like they are lucky to have you

    • Ok if you wear jeans they will definitely not hire you. That is not prefessional. Wear exactly what the employees are wearing. A polo shirt and black pants.

    • You pretty much answered your question when you said that "the people who work there usually wear slacks and a collared shirt."

Jeans are usually a no-no for job interviews, and you definitely don't want to dress more casual than the people who work there.

Wear the collared shirt, but pair it with slacks instead.

Job Interview Questions: First job interview tomorrowwhat to expect please help?

what kinds of questions do managers usually ask on a job interview? I am a shy guy and get nervous with things like this so i want to be well prepared.

Job Interview Preparation - The Tips & Tricks You Need to Know

    Recommended Answer:
    General questions include:

    - Why are you applying for this position?
    - Name a time when you had to deal with a difficult customer.
    - Name a time when you showed leadership?
    - If you witnessed a fellow co-worker breaking the rules (stealing etc) what would you do?
    - What was your favorite job and why?
    - What was your least favorite job and why?
    - Have you ever had to deal with a disagreement with your boss? How did you handle the situation?
    - Where do you see yourself in 5 years? (always a good idea to say in a higher position within the company & emphasize your drive to succeed) The tricky one you should think about before going in is:
-What are some of your weaknesses? Set this one up as a positive set up as a negative. People usually use the "I'm too much of a perfectionist" answer, try to be more creative though. I can't help you out with an example since I don't know what position you're applying for.Just a few examples from my experience. The most important thing is to always make eye contact, sit up straight and smile even though you're nervous. It will make you appear more confident. It also always helps to know a little bit about the place you're applying too. Look at their website, most places have an "about the company" page. It will impress the employer that you cared to do some research.

If you're nervous just take a deep breath and just say "sorry I'm a bit nervous". The employer is on your side and will completely understand that interviews can be nerve wrecking sometimes. Take your time answering the questions and try to give as many examples as possible.

Job Interview Questions: Where can I buy high quality small size clothes for job interview?

Who sells high quality clothing that would be appropriate for a job interview. If I go to juniors departments and stores with sizes to fit short people, they mostly sell jeans and t shirts. What do women typically wear to interviews? My budget is that the outfit must be under $600. I really want to get hired, so I need to look professional but stylish. Where can I find the right clothing for this purpose?
