Job Interview Questions: Job interview process?

i had a job interview today at dunkin donuts, it went pretty well. i left and about 3 minutes later the manager called me and said that she liked me and is going to send my application into human resources and then set up a different interview.
i'm kind of confused as to why that's necessary? maybe it's common sense, but i'm just a kid who has never had a job before
thanks (:

It sounds like a good sign to me, I don't think she would go through the trouble of even calling you unless she were being sincere.

    • Oh fun! Rue21, i love that place.
I would wear something a little funky, since that store is you know.. a little funky.
Maybe some cute holey jeans, and a dressy shirt maybe with some converse
or some boots! Wear bright jewerly to get there attention.

    • For dress, something professional. Skirt or dark pants with a suit jacket. Simple makeup and no flashy jewelry.

Job Interview Questions: I'm pregnant and have a job interview tomorrow?

I'm currently 5 mos pregnant, carrying high and it's quite obvious that I'm pregnant. This is an excellent position that I've been waiting for the past few months for and I didn't want to pass up the opportunity. How should I address my pregnancy in my interview tomorrow?

    Recommended Answer:
I would not address it at all. By law they are not allowed to broach the topic with you, so if you don't bring it up, nothing will be confirmed. After you are hired it is safe to bring it up with your supervisor. I was 5 months pregnant when I got hired at my current job and I wore a loose shirt and did not mention it and neither did they.

Job Interview Guide: How to Answer Job Interviews and Land on Your Dream Job

    • Shouldnt be a problem, just be honest with them, u will need a break after the baby is born but u r willing to do what it takes to get the job done and even help from home if possible. If u dont get the job and u think it was cus ur pregnant I would report them. companys arent supposed to discriminate against preggers.

    • Your fine. You feel huge at 5m but your not as big as you think (it has just begun honey).
Just go to maternity store like motherhood maternity in the mall or cheaper version is good ol Target. They have tops that hide you perfectly, made especially for working women. You can check the selections out online first.

I got hired into a new position when I was just about 21 weeks. Neither of my interviewers knew. I brought up family leave a couple weeks later like, "oh, you couldnt tell? Your so sweet." played that one off well.

      Good luck

Job Interview Questions: How to dress for a job interview?

    Common Job Interview Mistakes

    Recommended Answer:
No jeans. I would suggest something appropriate for a business/office type environment so slacks or skirt (not short/above the knee) and blouse/sweater. Tasteful jewelry and heels (it's fine if they are open toed or boots but not TOO high). If you submitted your resume originally, bring it with you just in case the person interviewing doesn't have a copy but also it's nice to have a copy of it in front of you to help remember details about your previous experience.

Job Interview Skills: What Does The Employer Want To Hear?

    • Dress neatly and conservatively. You want to project the best possible image of yourself, so plan and prepare a neat, businesslike outfit. You can't go wrong with a business suit. Even if the company has explicitly stated that it's a “business casual” workplace, stick with the suit. An interview is not the time to express your unique fashion sense; it's the time to show you know when it's time to follow the rules and traditions of business.

      Good luck :-)

    • wear either dress pants or a dress skirt (to or below the knee). wear a nice blouse. wear heels. one inch boots are fine, as long as they're classy. do NOT wear jeans to an interview. and please, no cleavage. and if you wear make up, don't wear like purple eye shadow. keep it classy.

    • I know I took my license and social secuity card to my interview. It was my first job so I didn't have a resumer. Idk if this will help bc I'm a guy but I wore fress shoes, dress pants and a polo from American Eagle

    • Just a formal dress.

Job Interview Questions: What to wear to a job interview at Xsport?

Usually, I know what to wear to a job interview. But tomorrow I'm interviewing at Xsport for the front desk position and as most of you know, the front desk girls there usually dress casually, and considering its a gym, I'm not sure if i should still go "interview formal". Some advice?

Go for formal attire. You're going to have a job interview. Even though it's a gym but still you need to look like a professional.
