Recommended Answer:
Dress professionally for any interview. For Best Buy I doubt you'd need a shirt and tie but at the very least a polo shirt and slacks, maybe even a shirt and blazer would be good.

An interview could take anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour depending on how the person likes your answers.

How to Recover From a Bad Job Interview and Get the Job

  • The saying is - "dress for success", meaning that if possible, dress in a suit & tie, even tho' it's "only" Best Buy..........they will be impressed that you cared enough to dress correctly as opposed to the many that will show up in jeans & t shirt........if no suit, then dress slacks and a shirt with tie is also OK...............interviews times can last from a few minutes to an hour or so

  • lol cover up skin, and be there 5 minutes early, and prepared to stay for an hour.

Job Interview Questions: I'm pregnant and have a job interview tomorrow?

I'm currently 5 mos pregnant, carrying high and it's quite obvious that I'm pregnant. This is an excellent position that I've been waiting for the past few months for and I didn't want to pass up the opportunity. How should I address my pregnancy in my interview tomorrow?

Can I Really Get That Job? - How To Survive a Job Interview - Part 1

Recommended Answer:
I would not address it at all. By law they are not allowed to broach the topic with you, so if you don't bring it up, nothing will be confirmed. After you are hired it is safe to bring it up with your supervisor. I was 5 months pregnant when I got hired at my current job and I wore a loose shirt and did not mention it and neither did they.

Job Interview Guide: How to Answer Job Interviews and Land on Your Dream Job

  • Shouldnt be a problem, just be honest with them, u will need a break after the baby is born but u r willing to do what it takes to get the job done and even help from home if possible. If u dont get the job and u think it was cus ur pregnant I would report them. companys arent supposed to discriminate against preggers.

  • Your fine. You feel huge at 5m but your not as big as you think (it has just begun honey).
Just go to maternity store like motherhood maternity in the mall or cheaper version is good ol Target. They have tops that hide you perfectly, made especially for working women. You can check the selections out online first.

I got hired into a new position when I was just about 21 weeks. Neither of my interviewers knew. I brought up family leave a couple weeks later like, "oh, you couldnt tell? Your so sweet." played that one off well.

    Good luck

Job Interview Questions: Should I tell my job interviewer that I have another interview?

I am going to 2 job interviews tomorrow, I don't know which one I want yet. If the first decides right then and there he wants to hire me, should I tell him about the second interview? what should I say?

The Secret To Job Interview Success

Recommended Answer:
If I were you, I would show your enthusiasm and accept at the first interview if they decide they want to hire you. If you get hired at the second job, and decide you want that instead, call the first job and tell them you've received a better offer and thank them for their time.

Win That Second Job Interview, Like You Did With the First Job Interview

  • I think you better know first which company do you really like to work for. If you get hired by the company that you really doesn't want to work at, then you might as well wanted to see if you can be accepted to the other company. But don't tell the first one who hires you that you would be willing to attend to your other interview to check if you are going to become more interested in that company. Its not a good behavior and you have to have a sense of respect for your interviewer. Think about if you are the interviewer and you hired someone and said to you that he/she will be meeting another interviewer to see if it is more interesting to work at that company what would you feel? You never have to say that. You can go to your next interview and choose what company you want to pursue of application but you don't have to be so rude

  • If he doesn't ask don't tell if he does do not lie just tell him

  • no way
    be discreet
    and good luck!

Job Interview Questions: What is the best answer to this job interview question? Can you name something negative about yourself?

I don't want to go with the usual "I'm too much of a perfectionist" or "I take on too much responsibility" or "I work too hard". I feel these are cliche responses that they will see right through. I also don't want to say something bad about myself that makes them not want to give me the job.

I have an interview for a possible promotion and I know they always ask this question, no matter how pointless it seems to me.

HOW to Answer Job Interview Questions

Recommended Answer:
"I smoke too much crack and sometimes it interferes with my work"
"I frequently want to bop people on the head who ask me stupid questions"
"I have trouble sharing responsibility since I want to be sure it's done correctly"
I suggest going with the 3rd one...

  • The best way to answer this question is to pick a skill, software, or training relevant to the job that you dont know and explain that you haven't had to opportunity to learn A and than follow up with an action plan on how you want to acquire that.

This shows that you are capable of recognizing your weaknesses but you have the direction and drive to get the solutions you need

  • I would tell them that it's a very hard question which would require some soul searching, but you would expect it to be trivial whatever it might be. I would add that no one is perfect but that you always aspire to that end.

A kind answer to an otherwise stupid question

Job Interview Questions: What can I do to my hair for a Job Interview?

Tomorrow I have a job interview... but... My hair is RED as in CRAYON RED. I don't know if that is ok for the job. It's in a office assistant in the business of Driving School. Also, what can I wear... and hairstyles? && I also got piercings? Help, please. Thank you.

Job Interviews Are Fearful Experiences - Follow a Proven Outline to Ace Your Next Interview

Recommended Answer:
First of all, they won't turn you down or hire you soley based on your hair color.
Second, Try something down, but out of your face, like if you have bangs, pin them up. You don't want to be continuously tucking your hair behind your ears.
Third, I don't know about piercings. Are they ears? Facial? It depends. Ears are okay. Facial? Depends on the business.
Fourth, wear what you think you're supposed to wear on the job, but one step up. If you think the dress code is khaki pants and such, wear dress pants and a fancy shirt. If you think it's dress pants, wear a suit or dress suit. Don't wear uncomfortable shoes or anything you're not comfortable in, because they will notice. Be confident.
