Recommended Answer:
I think the black dress pants with the black flats would be cute, maybe look for a top with more color so you aren't black on black.

Job Interview Questions: What would be a good reason to use during an job interview to get the specific days and hours I want?

I have an upcoming interview with a big retail store. I would like to work part-time from 6 to 9 pm and from Monday to Friday only. I want to keep my weekends free. For obvious reasons, retailers will frown on this. I have a family, a one year old baby boy whom I really would like to spend time with along with rests of the family on weekends. What would be an excellent reason to give the interviewer to hire me and give me the days and hours that I am requesting?

Job Interview Practice - You've Done Your Interview Prep, Now What's the Best Way to Practice?

Recommended Answer:
You'll need to be exceptionally good at the job. It would also help if you have tons of experience in the field.

To be honest, if someone submitted an application with that availability, I would not call them. So maybe you've already made it past that hurdle. The only exceptions I ever would have made would be for someone with tons of experience, enthusiasm and energy or if we were seriously desperate for people.

As for the reason, I would just be honest. You could even just say that you're not available on weekends and not give a reason at all. It might also be helpful if you say you'd be willing to work the occasional Saturday (if this is true) as many stores have promotions or special events where they really need extra people in addition to the regular weekend staff.

Job Interview Questions: When I go to a job interview, do they tell me if I have the job straight away?

Like when they interview me and it's over do they say "Okay you've got the job. Start Monday" or do they say they'll call in a few days. Or even say you haven't got the job? I'm just curious?

World's Best Job Interview Tips

Recommended Answer:
Normally not. They often interview many applicants, and will wait until they are sure that you (or someone else) is the best option before telling you if you get the job. If its not very competitive and they are convinced immediately that you would be a good employee, then yes it is possible. Don't be surprised if they say "we will be in touch" at the end of the interview.

Job Interview Tips for Second Interviews

  • In most cases no. They normally have many candidates to interview and will review all applicants after the interview process is over. There are some cases where they might tell you, but that would be in places where they are hiring multiple people (places like McDonalds etc..).

  • No they call u back again .

  • if they do, its a scam... watch out!

Job Interview Questions: If your slacks or dress pants are tight would it look bad when you go to a job interview?

Today I brought 2 pairs of black slacks or dress pants I can't tell the difference for a job interview and when I tried them on I liked how they fit. I think one is alittle tighter than the other slacks. I asked the sales associate if the pants are professional just to make sure and she said yes.

Most definately, overly tight pants may cause the wrong kind of attention I think it best to find looser dress pant of course not too loose that it looks sloppy but loose enought to look professional .you want the interview not to be distracted by ur clothes but by ur mind and answers ur personality as well..fiirst impressions are extremely. Job Interview Success Checklist

    • What you picked is probably fine, as long as the top of the dress is not revealing and the shoes do not look cheap. You want to look put together and somewhat stylish without showing to much skin. Pull your hair back so they can see your face. Do not wear to much makeup. Look put together and professional. I don't ever wear "leggins" as to me they scream "too young". If I wear a dress it is with stockings, heels and a tailored jacket. Make sure the skirt isn't super short either.

    • No because sears people dont run around in dresses and dresses are over the top this is what i would wear,
Black slack pants a white t shirt (no stains)
And a little dressy coat that matches the black pants.
      and some high heels

    • no you wear a white color botton up shirt and a long black silky pants with black high heels make you look more professional.

    • Only if you put a blazer over it. That is not considered casual business attire

    • It's OK, but I'd wear hose and a low heeled pump instead of leggings.

Job Interview Questions: What happens if you miss a job interview?

If someone misses a part time job interview then does that mean they can never apply for the same job at the same place? Can they apply for the same job but at a different branch?

A Job Interview and the Ultimate Language Tool to Guarantee the Job Offer

    Recommended Answer:
You could probably go an apply for the same job at a different branch because each location likely has their own hiring manager. However, you might want to wait a month or so just to be on the safe side. Also if something about you missing this job interview ever comes up in a job interview, be honest, own up to your mistake, and mention it won't happen again.

    Good luck!
