Such as social security numbers, birthdates, along those lines?

Best Job Interview Tip - You're The STAR

Recommended Answer:
For a job interview, bring your resume, and information you'll need to complete an application. Information like your previous job experience (company name, address, dates of employment) and reference information (name, relationship, job title at which company, and phone number). You may need to know your birthdate and social security number to complete the application. A potential employer will only have this information if you or an agency have provided it previously.

Once hired, you'll need to bring actual documents proving identity for them to complete a form I-9.

Job Interview Questions: I have a job interview tomorrow...any tips?

im nervous because i have a job interview tomorrow and i really wanna score it. any tips on being successful?

What to Do When Your Job Interviewer is Distracted - And You Want This Job

Recommended Answer:
When going for a job interview, there are several things you must keep in mind. Be prepared to answer all kinds of questions the interviewers might ask, especially related to your past experiences, education and about yourself. It is best to recognize and write your strengths and weaknesses in advance. Before you go for an interview, read them and try to remember them to be able to speak during an interview. If you have a portfolio, do not forget to carry that along with you.

During an interview, your body language is very important. While talking can only present your actual words, your body language can convey your message in so many different ways. Therefore, in case, you are giving out the wrong signals, your interviewers may have some doubts about what you are saying. So, be aware of what you are speaking and how you are speaking at the same time.

Another important thing, you might want to remember during your interview is to be specific. Interviewers hate "beating around the bush". Unless the interviewers specifically ask you to elaborate, you should try to keep the answer simple and straightforward. Here are several other interview tips that could be very useful for you:

A Guide to the Most Evil Job Interview Questions

Recommended Answer:
As a general rule, you should go into the store and see the clothes that management wears. Then copy them. Second best is what the help wears.

Strengths? Responsibility, honesty, good with math, speed, not lazy, willing and able to do well all that's asked of you, fast learner, upbeat personality.

Questions? That's too hard since all hiring managers have their own set of questions. A common one is why you want to work at their store or why you chose their company. Basically, all answers should give the impression that you are the type of person that they'd like and enjoy having working alongside them, you're a team player, and that you will be working there long term (more than a month or two or three) if you like it there. Employers generally don't like turnover. It's a pain and expensive for the company.

Light up the room and the interviewer's mood when you go for the interview, and give a nice firm, friendly handshake.

You're not interviewing for the position of CEO or anything close, so whether or not you get hired will be 95% based on your apparent personality. So pay close attention to conveying the characteristics I mentioned above and getting hired should be a piece o' cake.

Good luck, Black. :-)

Job Interview Questions: What would be a good reason to use during an job interview to get the specific days and hours I want?

I have an upcoming interview with a big retail store. I would like to work part-time from 6 to 9 pm and from Monday to Friday only. I want to keep my weekends free. For obvious reasons, retailers will frown on this. I have a family, a one year old baby boy whom I really would like to spend time with along with rests of the family on weekends. What would be an excellent reason to give the interviewer to hire me and give me the days and hours that I am requesting?

Job Interview Practice - You've Done Your Interview Prep, Now What's the Best Way to Practice?

    Recommended Answer:
You'll need to be exceptionally good at the job. It would also help if you have tons of experience in the field.

To be honest, if someone submitted an application with that availability, I would not call them. So maybe you've already made it past that hurdle. The only exceptions I ever would have made would be for someone with tons of experience, enthusiasm and energy or if we were seriously desperate for people.

As for the reason, I would just be honest. You could even just say that you're not available on weekends and not give a reason at all. It might also be helpful if you say you'd be willing to work the occasional Saturday (if this is true) as many stores have promotions or special events where they really need extra people in addition to the regular weekend staff.

Job Interview Questions: What to wear for a job interview?

I have a job interview at the gap. And I have never shopped there, and was wondering if jeans would be okay.

The Comic Tragedy of Job Interviews

    Recommended Answer:
The biggest mistake you can make is wearing jeans to a job interview. Regardless of what the job is you always wear a suit. Weather your going for a corporate job or a job waiting table or cleaning the floor always go with a suit. If you can't find a suit do black dress pants a white button down shirt and a black cardigan or blazer. You can put you own style on it with acessories but not to much it is an interview.... Good luck!!

Can I Really Get That Job? - How To Survive a Job Interview - Part 1

    • Well i myself am 14. But I have an older sister who has had alot of jobs. And I've seen her before a couple of times before job interviews. She wears black slacks, black heels. And a white Button up shirt. Short or long sleeve. Doesn't matter. And she doesn't wear ties. Just like one button loose from the top. And if you have highlights. My sister hides them. She has sone highlights on the side of her head. And she gets the highlights and ties behind her head and hiding behind her natural hair and puts her hair over the highlights. And about hats and piercings. Don't wear them. They make you look MAJORLY unprofessianal. Just the regualar ear peircing are ok. And be urself. Be honest. Don't like and say you graduated from haravard or something. Good luck :)

    • I think you have to be worn with full-sleeved collared shirts to gain formal look. There are several options you can choose from. A cap-sleeved shirt is one of them. Throw on a pretty scarf underneath your collar and voila, you have 'chic forma attire'.

    • Never wear jeans for a job interview! Go to google or youtube and put in your question. You will get tons of ideas and recommendations and videos. Good luck I hope you get the job! :)

    • If you had a interview i wear something nice and not jeans

    • i would wear khakis and a nice shirt...business casual
it's never bad to dress too formal but it can be bad to not dress formal enough

    • jeans aren't professional so wear dark pants

    • formal dress, not jeans, you should be loking smart.

Job Interview Questions: Should I take my current employee evaluation to a new job interview?

I just got my evaluation done from my current employer and it went well. I have a new job interview later on today.

Would it be okay to take it to the interview? What is your opinion

    Job Interview Preparation

    Recommended Answer:
Never give away your control. If you give this evaluation to the prospectus employer, he/she may contact your former employer. do yo want that to happen? You will never really know at that point what is being said about you; good or bad.

Only give what is required unless requested. You could say, I can provide references at a later date,' but only if it becomes an issue. Then line up people who you know for SURE will give you a sterling recommendation. Usually those are people who do not have an 'axe to grind' in regards to the out-come. Your current employer might have. Losing you unexpectedly, or holding grudges from a long time ago, maybe? Did you ever come up short on an assignment? Pay Back can be a bit_h.

Does your current employer know you are thinking of 'jumping ship' so to speak? How would that be perceived? If you are 100% sure your current employer wouldn't block you or do a flip on you, then go for it, but my gut feeling is to tell you NOT to do this.

'Pride Goes Before A Fall,' my friend, or as they used to say, 'You Ain't All That.'

Think before you speak or act, and above all else ...

DON'T GIVE AWAY YOUR CONTROL OF THE SITUATION !

Job Interview Questions: What are questions I could as a salon owner at a job interview?

Im an up and comming cosemtologist and I have my 2nd job interview at a salon and I need to have questions ready to ask...please help!

    Job Interview Success

    Recommended Answer:
Well I help hold many interviews with my company. Things we ask are

    1. What are three attributes that you could bring to the team
    2. Whats your biggest accomplishment so far (should be business NOT personal)
    3. And why would you be a good for our company

When in an interview... ONLY talk professions/business. A business owner doesn't really care about your personal achievements. They are interested in how you can better their company and make them more money. Sell yourself as an investment.

    Hope this helps!

Job Interview Questions: Job interview?! . . .?

I have a group job interview at American Eagle and I don't know what I should wear! Can anyone please help me out? I want to look decent but not like I'm trying to hard

Job Interview Tips You Can Use to Ace the Interview and Land the Job

      Recommended Answer:
Wear up-to-date American Eagle clothes. If you're a male; their plaid shirts are always a good choice, or a polo or button-up. If you're a female; a cute flirty dress they have are good, or something trendy, but NOT scandalous.

In all honesty, American Eagle isn't too harsh on you if you don't look like a model, they're more about customer service, and once you're hired, you can buy some more clothes with your discount!

      Good luck!!
