Job Interview Questions: Job interview tomorrow at chipotle not sure what to wear?

i have a job interview tomorrow at chipotle mexican grill but not sure if i should wear black dressy pants with a nice shirt and dressy blck shoes or tan dickie pants with a casual nice shirt and tennis shoes please help me

Experience Of Job Interview

Recommended Answer:
Wear anything that you feel comfortable in. It is not important. Most people who apply at Chipotle wear jeans and a t-shirt at their interview. And they get the job. The most important thing is to tell the interviewer that you will show up on-time and that you will work hard. Everything else is not important.

Do not buy clothes for an interview. Your smile is your ticket to get this job.

Job Interview Questions: Should I go to this job interview?

The career counselor at school had refered 2 jobs interviews previously for me (the job is teacher's aide), and l was rejected both times. She said there is another interview in a few weeks, and I don't know if l should go again, if l got rejected for the 3rd time, that counselor will think l am a complete loser and probably think there is something really wrong w/ me. I am still debating whether l should go or not. I simply don't want to further embarrass myself.

Job Interview Issues - How To Dress To Match The Interview

Recommended Answer:
It's best to go for the interview as, who knows, you might be 3rd time lucky. Fact is, the teaching job scene has seen a lot of ups and downs over the past 2 years.

My sister-in-law appeared for 7 teaching job interviews before she landed a part-time teaching position. She started as a teacher aide herself and is now being considered for a full-time position.

I Landed a Job Interview: Should I Stop My Job Search?

  • A career counselor is there to help students, go do your interview, never turn down an opportunity when it's handed to you, if you get it, you get it. if you don't get it, it would have been an experience for you to learn from, the more interviews you do, the more you become comfortable with the process; if you do not get the position, talk to the counselor about the actual interview, there maybe something you are not doing quiet right, interviewing is a a process that you need to prepare for, it involves before, during and after the interview, so do not take it personally if you do not go through this time either, but you should not turn it down. Good luck :)

  • I really feel that you should go because when you peruse something that you really want you present your self as ambicious, responsible and a go getter. And it will show your counselor why she should continue to refer you to interviews. Because you really want this...right?

  • i know how you feel, u feel your wasting your time. Maybe you are i don;t know. How far do you have to travel for this interview woudl be the dealbreaker for me.

How To Lose A Job During The Job Interview

  • Ok so i worked at sears when I was 16 for a year. Im 18 now so it wasnt that long ago.
But there dress code is no colors. So I remember I wore a nice black top with black dress pants. Seems lame black and black.
And I no its really hot, so maybe a short sleve shirt, but no tanks.
and you'll have an outfit you can wear if you get the job.
Also you want closed toed shoes. So NO flipflops.
If you have anyother questions about sears just message me.
Ill tell you about my interview and what they asked me if you need it

  • Hello, you are interviewing for a retail postion therefore, you would simply dress in some business casual threads.... attractive, with a touch of conservatism and class.... but hey, if you are color coordinated and have some heels on your fine.... this is a retail-hardware store, so you wont have too dress like your interviewing for a large cooperation with a strong conservative dress code..... i think you ll be fine in whatever casual business attire, some heels, and as long as your outfit matches, your in there! i would go with a white short sleeve shirt, gray or neutral skirt, with with some hose, heels... or just a white shirt, gray slacks, heels, youll be fine... i used too interview for retail etc... as long as you look sharp, communicate fine, maintain eye contact, answer honestly and without hesitation/sincere, youll be good to go! retail folks want agressive sales people, someone thats energetic, easy too manage and one that shows up on time.... if you stress that your dependable and will strive too attain the goals and objectives of the company..... your fine.... the team player story works best..... i wouldnt be worried as this is sears, i doubt you will make this a long term career..... if you have your game plan down and look the part, youll be fine......

best of luck! just smile and if a male is interviewing you, a little harmless flirting helps.....

  • You should always dress as professional as possible for any sort of job interview. You only get one chance to make a first impression, and you don't want your interviewer to feel as though you don't care about the interview, or that's going to be an immediate dismissal.

  • first, go to sears and buy clothes from there,
    i'd recommend something like
    www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605…
    with
    www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605…good luck on your interview!

  • Why not go for a linen black shift dress with some smart sandals if the dress code is no colour. This will keep you cool especially you can tie your hair up. Good luck.

  • Business casual
So any nice pair of trousers or skirt(around knee length) and a nice blouse. No tank tops, sleeveless is OK, but don't go in something sexy or too casual.

  • Maybe try a knee length professional looking skirt, with a cute dressy short sleeved blouse tucked in.

  • Nice shirt and pants.

  • I would say a dressy blouse and black pants (Not jeans)

Job Interview Questions: What should I do after job interview?

I had an interview on Wednesday, and at the end of it, he told me that they would either make up their minds later that day or Thursday. It's now Friday and I still haven't heard anything. He said that he would let me know either way if I had got the job or not by letter, e-mail or phone.

Should I phone to ask what is going on? I'm pretty sure if they were interested in me they would have let me know by now? :(

Thanks

How To Stand Out From The Crowd At Job Interviews

Recommended Answer:
Give them a bit longer. Maybe Monday or Tuesday. Meanwhile just keep your fingers crossed and keep looking around elsewhere.
If you dont get the job, be polite with them. You never know-they might need someone again in a month or so and dig your application/info out to give you a call.

You're Not Alone If You Hate Going To Job Interviews

  • Don't call them today. Something could have happened to hold them up. I would wait till at least Monday afternoon to call. Don't give up yet.

  • This is a tricky one, I actually had three interviews and waited a total of five weeks over one job. They finally phoned me the day before I started another job.( I told them I was no longer interested)

Job Interview Questions: I forgot to mention my change in address in my job interview. Should I address it in my thank you letter?

When I filled out my job application for the job I interviewed on a few days ago, I used my previous address and, in two weeks, I moved out of that address. A few days after I moved out, I got the call from them to set up an interview and I forgot to mention my change of address. Should I address it in my thank you letter? Thanks in advance!

What to Do When Your Job Interviewer is Distracted - And You Want This Job

Job Interview Questions: I've Got a Job Interview Tomorrow---Any tips or advice?

I have my first job interview tomorrow at a local retail store and was wanting to know what to expect. I've never done this before so I was hoping someone could give me some tips and what general questions might pop up.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Top 10 Tips for Excelling in a Panel Job Interview

    Recommended Answer:
Hey I am not sure what type of retailer this is but most interviews follow a general pattern.

For a start if it is a clothing store then by all means feel free to wear their clothes but remember its an interview not a photo-shoot so keep it professional. it is said employers know within 5 seconds if the candidate is suitable so make sure your first impression is the best it can be.

Try to keep your makeup natural.

allow plenty of time to arrive and settle in about 5 Min's before the interview is a good time to arrive, Introduce your self and explain your purpose of visit for example '' good morning / afternoon my name is ********* and i have an interview at *********''. if you don't know who your interviewer is then skip to the time. or you could just say '' good morning / afternoon I have an interview at ****''

    Remember to great your interviewer with a smile and shake their hand if they extend it first ! If there are two interviewers then one will be asking questions and one will be observing your body language and your responses. this is a sneaky way of doing it but it helps them so see you from all angles. if there is just one then your fine ;) ok now to the tricky part what you will be asked;

each interviewer has their own technique but the general questions are mostly the same.

    a typical interview will have the following structure;

    Icebreakers-

these are to settle you in but don't let your guard down and say something you know you shouldn't, so be vigilant at all times. The types of questions may include hobbies etc but try to relate them to the job your applying for, for example '' I am in the school netball team and this allows me to understand teamwork and the benefit of it to achieve a single goal'' Company

This section is a little more tricky and you have to think about your answers but one major flaw most people make is not to fully understand the question being asked so if your not sure feel free to ask the interview to repeat the question. this type of question may be '' why do you want to work for us ?'' or ''what skills do you think you could bring to the team?'' etc just be honest and try to keep your answers to the point ( you don't need to use fancy words, just tell them the main point)

    Situation Questions

ok now these questions are very sneaky most big companies use them but some smaller ones may also. now the trick to getting these questions right is to fully understand them as i mentioned before. for example '' its a busy day and the store manager asks you to replenish the ***** department as the stock is quite low, after 30 minutes your assistant manager asks you to go on to the tills as there is a long queue. what would you do ?'' this is not the question you will be asked but its to give you an idea.

just remember this is assessing how you react in situations so just think on your feet.

ok if you get through all of this they will then start talking about the job and tasks in entails. they will also chat about uniform and pay and also when you will be told when you will receive your results from the interview some may tell you on the day or ring you or send you a letter.

then when the interview is over be sure to shake the hand of your interviewer, tell them how lovely it was to meet them and thank them for taking the time to see you. ( its cheesy but it can make a big difference ;) ) I hope this information is a help to you

And I Wish you the very best of luck ;)

    Some Sound Job Interview Advice

    • if its a clothing store then wear there clothing to the interview and if its not then dress professionally. review your resume because they will do background checks and see if your lying about it. learn about the company and don't tell them your applying because you need a job.

be ready to talk about your previous employment
be ready to answer "what would you do in this situation" questions
they will ask why you want to work for them
they will ask why you decide to leave your previous job

make sure after you ASK when to hear back from them and ask for a business card. ALOT of employers now a days will leave job seekers on the dust. good luck and hope you get the job!

    • Sometimes interviews can be short, sometimes long, it really depends, you can't guess at that.

Wear some black trousers, a white blouse, something like that, no matter what type of job it is, first impressions are vital.
Remember to keep eye contact at all times and give a firm handshake.
Be confident but don't over-do it.
As for hair and make-up, I don't think they'd care tbh. It's about how you act that's more important.
They ask you about your expierience you've had with work, or any things you've done that could contribute towards the job, your hobbies, any sources (people) that could back you up, they might ask you to confirm information about yourself, they'd ask you what subjects you took in high school.
If you don't know an answer, don't hesitate to ask any questions to them, and be honest.
      x

    • ask the interveiwer loadsa quessies... it always flumuxed em!.. voila... the job is yours! lolololololololol

Job Interview Questions: Ask for time off during a job interview?

I have a job interview...problem is later in the month I already made plans to go somewhere around new years (the place is open during new years) would it be acceptably to say those I'm busy those days during the interview?

I made the reservations three weeks after the application and I thought I wouldn't get interviewed.

whats the best way to say it without turning off the boss

Keys to a Successful Job Interview

    Recommended Answer:
Honey, you don't ask, you tell. Just tell them you have already made plans for this period of time and you won't be able to come to work. They will understand and make provisions for it. They have lives and families too! :)

Job Interviews -- The Real Reasons Why You Need to Follow Up

    • wait til the middle of the interview and if you think things are going well then bring it up. just casually say that you already had a vacation planned that you cant get out of but would be happy to start work right after it. if the boss really wants to hire you then it shouldnt be a dealbreaker he or she will still want you to work for them

    • I do not think you will get the job if you tell them you have a trip planned. I would expect you to cancel it , if I were the employer times are tough and I have other people who want the job more than you do.

    • If they ask you when you could start, select a day after your holiday. You can say that you have commitments until after that time.

Job Interview Questions: Any suggestions on what I should wear to my job interview tomorrow?

I have a job interview scheduled tomorrow morning at my local Kohl's department store. It's been extremely hot lately here in Los Angeles, today was over 100 degrees and I don't want to show up at a job interview feeling too casual, but I also dont want to overdress and feel stuffy because of the heat. What do you recommend I do?

Some Questions Astute Interviewers May Ask During the Job Interview Process

    Recommended Answer:
i would say either a pencil skirt with a light summery shirt, not to dressy. If you think that the pencil skirt will be to tight and make you hot, then i would go with white capri shorts, with a blue, pink or yellow short-sleeved summer top. Wear you hair up in a bun, kind of sloppy and to the side, with a cute head band to match the shirt. You can wear brown sandals, or high heels, try to avoid flip-flops. Way to casual.
