Job Interview Questions: I need job interview hellpp?

i have a job interview thursday and i wanted to know what should i say and bring what to wear and everything. i just need tips. this is my first job interview/job ever and im 16.

Discriminatory Job Interview Questions to Avoid

Recommended Answer:
try to calm down between now and then. remember this is just the first one of about 100 or more over you life time. yuck, sorry that's an awful thought.

first of all dress like you're going to church. no crazy make up or hair. just clean cut and confident.

i would bring a small note book and pen, but i doubt they will expect you to take notes. it just looks like you have come prepared.

make sure you have names and numbers etc for people they might want you to write down as a reference. if you never worked before, you can still use say someone you baby sat for or maybe you even cleaned someones house. most kids forget about those.

pay attention, if you don't feel you understand what the job will require, ask questions.
know what hours you will work. they can't pay you under minimum wage, what that is now i don't know, but you can ask anyone who works at the employment agency in your town. just call them.
but who ever interviews you should tell you that soon as they tell you what you have to do,

also, if a uniform isn't supplied as what you should wear, outfit and shoes.

now after the interview, if you are able to get an email address, send a thank you for them taking their time to interview you for the job and you really hope you are qualified enough to get the position.

if you can't get an email, wait a day or so and call and ask if there are any other questions they would like to know regarding the job and the interview you just had, and then mention the day.

once a million years ago, in college, i wanted the waitress job cause it was close to campus and the tips were good. i called and called but i could never seem to get the owner. found out later he was ann airline pilot don't know why he didn't allow his manager to hire. anyway, when he did get back they told him about the calls for the job, and since i called like 10 times, they wanted him to see me first just to stop me from calling. ha,,,,anyway, i got the job..

good luck, you'll do fine i'm sure.

Job Interview Answers - 5 Of The Most Common Questions Demystified

  • This is a very important part in your development as a part of the workforce and as a member of society, so I urge you to take it seriously and to be very concerned regarding this issue. Following are a series of pointers I can give you to succeed in this endeavor. Of utmost importance is the topic of sexuality. If your potential employer is a woman between the ages of 20 and 75, I suggest you sexually relieve yourself before the interview, just to make sure that when she is asking questions you are actually paying attention to her, and not thinking of her sexuality. This is true unless you are gay, in which case the converse will be true. On a second note, the topic of nervousness is also very important. You run the risk of attending the interview and being too nervous to even answer the questions you are asked. For this reason, I suggest you drink five or six shots of tequila or your favorite spirit before the interview to such an end that you will be very relaxed. At times, although not always recommendable, is also helpful to experience the effects of cannabis in order to become relaxed. On a final note, your incompetence and lack of experience can weight against you in this topic. For this reason, I suggest you lie in all instances to your interviewer. Do not let him know that you have never had a job and create a tale relating how you used to work in the adult entertainment industry or whatever you like and how you chose this particular job because of environmental issues.

Job Interview Questions: Would it be obvious if i went to a job interview a little drunk?

i suck at interviews, ive bombed a couple of interviews in my life. should i show up to the group interview a little drunk? would they know?

Job Interview Success Checklist

Recommended Answer:
Yes. They will know. You will be acting drunk, and you will smell like booze.

Better to Practice with someone until you get good at it. Do you have a parent or experienced friend who will work with you? A parent or adviser? Even if you don't, you may be able to work with someone at the employment office (go in and ask).

Many people don't do well in interviews because they don't do it often. Practice makes perfect. Good luck.

  • It wouldnt be so obvious if u just drink enough to feel uninhibited but not enough to be talking like a drunk person, i used to work drunk a lot btw, very drunk on some days, but my boss was rarely around.

  • If you've bombed interviwes why would you want to go drunk? Yes, they will notice so you'll just bomb this one too!

  • Maybe, but if you've been bombing them already, what have you got to lose? Might as well try something different.

  • DO IT. But don't have very much, you want just enough to loosen up but not enough to make an idiot out of yourself.

  • I dont know I just need points

  • no sh*t

  • No, man

Job Interview Skills: How to Manage a Bad Interview!

Recommended Answer:
You could go with a pair dress pants and a nice blouse. Whatever you do don't wear jeans, obviously. Make sure your hair is neat. Easy on the accessories. If you're going to wear make up, make sure it's lightly applied. One of your dresses may work too if it's below the knee, is not sleeveless, and not too low-cut.

Good luck! I have an interview tomorrow too!

Job Interview Questions: What should I do about job interview?

So McDonald's called me for a job interview which I was thrilled about. However, I was not expecting them to call me as the location is 5 miles away. I don't have a car and there are no buses that go to the area. So I will have to walk to the destination. Should I bother jogging 5 miles to the McDonald's for the interview? Or should I just focus on getting a job closer by?

Job Interview Practice - You've Done Your Interview Prep, Now What's the Best Way to Practice?

    Recommended Answer:
Jobs are hard to come by nowadays. I would do the interview and if they offer you a job, then you can decide. Always try and at least now you have a true option to take it or not. The worst that will happen is you will get a good experience at job interviewing and not get offered the job and use what you learned for the next interview somewhere else. Plus 5 miles is not that far away if you ride a bike!

Job Interview Questions: How would you know if you passed a job interview?

I just had a job interview today. I answered all the questions she asked. Then we had a little small talk. She then told me I would get a call around the 17 of this month (June). She said they got to do a background check to make sure I don't got a bench warrant, unpaid tickets, etc. Then she started talking about the pay and what she can offer and also the hours she can offer. Does this mean I'm about to land a job?? What are signs that you'll know you'll get hired?

Job Interview Advice - How to Properly Prepare for a Job Interview and Get Hired

        • Prepare for the worst, expect the best.

Don't derail your job search, but don't commit yourself to anything else. Prepare your personal life to start a job.

None of those things in the interview are unexpected for any of the applicants. She had the same conversation with whomever they chose to go to the next level of hiring. And none of those things commit them to hire you.

          Good luck

        • Id say all the signs are in the talk. If youu two were very confortable, very warm when talking, id say youu got the job.

        • Joseph C's answer is a good one. I'd like to add though - don't sweat too hard over this decision. It will have no impact on your job interview. If someone came to an interview I was doing with a bright yellow file folder to hold it all - I would think nothing of it.
