When I gave birth to my first child I decided to stay home to take care of my baby, it has been 4 years and now that my littleone is starting preschool I feel is time for me to go fulltime to the workforce. I have a job interview for an environmental scientist position next week but I fear my abscence would harm my chances. Any suggestions, ideas, tips to do a sucessfull interview??? Thanks in advance
Job Interview Training For Managers - Will's Story
Recommended Answer:I'm sure it won't. They may doubt your commitment to the job a tiny bit and if you will keep a persistent attendence in coming into work, but as long as you have a good CV, you'll do fine.
Just put your absent days behind them, if the answers crops up, explain that your putting it behind you and you've been through pregnancy, they might understand.
Just do the usual, really.
Be honest with them, they wouldn't take well to dishonesty.
Just dress appropriately and approach them kindly with a firm handshake and maintain eye contact.
I think you'll do well, despite not having a job for 4 years.
Good luck.
