Job Interview Questions: After a job interview I asked my interviewer what happened to their broken leg.Was this inappropriate?

I felt that by asking I was seeming more friendly, conversational, and expressing concern.By asking this I also felt that they would feel more at ease and welcomed by me being on the team.

Job Interview Questions: Should I go on this job interview?

This will be the second interview for the position. At the first, they mentioned that the position may start out at almost 30 hours and then they'll start to subtract hours or see if they even need the position once they figure things out. It seems like there's a lot of uncertainty with this job.

I'm being considered for other jobs that have set hours. Should I even go to the second interview for this one if it doesn't seem like a good fit?

U should stay away from a company that does not know its future. Tell them to go and **** themsevles!

How to Prepare Yourself for a Job Interview

  • Go for the second interview and then wait and see if you hear from the other employers in the mean time, you may even be offered a job with one of the other companies who have set hours. If not then at least you will still have this job to fall back on (if they offer it to you), even though the hours are uncertain.

  • Well, I guess it depends on how desperate you are for a job at the moment. If you need money like NOW, then I say go for it. Otherwise, it seems pretty sketchy. I would ditch the second interview and pursue your other opportunities.

  • Yes. Keep your options open. You're not obligated to accept an offer.

Job Interview Questions: I have a job interview at a kooky clothing store tomorrow. Any advice?

I desperately want and need this job. The store is called Juice. Link:
www.juicefashion.co.uk/

What should I wear? I have kooky Tshirts, not unlike the water pistol one on the page, but I don't know if that's too informal for a job interview. Thing is, I'll be at college beforehand and I don't want to be too "done" for college.
Any interview tips for me?
Thanks guys x

Job Interview Questions: What to wear to a job interview?

I have a job interview tomorrow, although they havent actually said interview they have said 'come in and meet us' its quite a modern and creative company. What do i wear?

10 Tips For A Successful Physical Therapy Job Interview

Recommended Answer:
If you have a chance watch 'What Not To Wear.' They have great ideas. My idea of an ideal interview outfit would be. A neutral skirt-- such as a brown or inconspicuous pattern. As for the top I would choose a pretty floral print or a button down and wear a nice blazer over it. If it's too hot, though, I would wear a button down shirt that you could unbutton with a camisole underneath. As for shoes... a kitten heal slingback would be good or fancy sandal. And keep your makeup natural and you hair professionally styled. e.g. A bun or straight locks. Don't go overboard on jewelry. Oh and good luck!

  • dress nice. Dark blue/black jeans with boots, and a nice blouse or sweater. do your hair nice, but not elaborate. Light makeup, nothing flashy and bold. Just nice and simple. Dont want to freak them out. Be normal. :) Hope it goes over well!

  • Basic colors:black, grey, white. If you are a female, wear a skirt that reaches to your knee w/ stockings. Minimum makeup and no perfume.

  • Black/grey trousers, - not jeans/demin.
    White/beige/light grey? Shirt/blouse
Black (leather?) shoes would look most smart.

  • Your best outfit. It doesn't matter what company. If you come in looking like you care about yourself. Then they will take you more seriously. First impressions can make or break you.

  • Black Dress pants and shoes. A nice shirt or blouse and a black business blazer. Wear makeup and style your hair nice. Don't forget to be confident and smile a lot. Good luck

Job Interview Questions: What do I wear to a job interview at the gym?

I have a job interview tomorrow at the gym and have no idea what to wear. I was going to wear black slacks but it is extremely hot here in Florida...(high 90s) and humid. The gym is also right on the beach. Would it be okay to wear nice capris, sandals, and a nice shirt? (I will be walking a good distance to the gym from where i will be parking)

Job Interview Guide - Some Tips to Ace Your Job Interview

Recommended Answer:
Don't wear sandals. There are really two strategies you can use:
1.) Wear a conventional "interview outfit".
2.) Wear sneakers and "gym ware" in case they are going to have you try out the equipment.

Sandals fit into neither.

If it is the 90s don't walk to the gym and show up for the interview sweaty. Have a friend drop you off or pay for a cab or sdomething.

Best Job Interview Tip - You're The STAR

  • Since it the job is at a gymnasium, you will want to dress in neat pressed athletic attire. A nice Lulu Lemon yoga top with black stretch pants and flip flops would be best. You want to dress for the occasion, if you wear inappropriate clothing for a gym near a beach, they will think you came unprepared. If you come dressed up in fitness clothes and beach flip flops, they will know you came prepared.

Remember to smile, give a firm hand shake and to have your opening line ready when you meet the gym staff. The opening line should be an introduction about yourself and why you are the right candidate for the job.

    Good luck!

Job Interview Questions: What to do if I want to cancel a job interview?

I made an appointment for a job interview.
But I found a better paying job that I have a very good chance of getting.
How can I tell the employer that I'm no longer interested in the job without being rude?

Thank You For The Job Interview - Are You Sending a Follow Up Letter?

Recommended Answer:
Good question. I would still go to the interview because practice is very important. You never know which job will be better without exploring them both. Also, you haven't been offered the other job. If you put all of your eggs in one basket you could end up with nothing. For all you know, the job you think is better will actually offer less and could have other issues.

In this competitive market keep your options open. I call your situation "a win-win". lol

How to Answer Job Interview Questions Correctly and Get Hired

  • When you are required to give a specific reason for your absence, make it as vague as possible.
When you have to cancel past the normal working hours, leave a simple message and explain it on the phone the next day.
If you have taken another position, call and let them know that you have accepted a position somewhere else with another company. Be sure to thank them for their consideration and wish them success. In this way, you have built a professional record should you decide to apply for a position again.

  • call them and tell them that you dont feel like its the right job for you, and you may have a more promising prospect

  • Call and be polite...........easy
