Getting Job Interview Help For Aviation Jobs

Recommended Answer:
So you lied to get a job and now you have an interview to get the job that you lied to get?

It would be pointless to go to the interview. While some might advise to go and 'fess up, it won't help you. You could try to keep up the lie and get the job, at which point they can't hire you because when you submit identification, it clearly shows you can not work. Or you can tell the truth hoping that they'll have a use for you in one month, 7 days. In this case, you're starting employment with them knowing that you lied to get the job. Actually, either way you show that you lied to get a job. Not a good way to get started.

Job Interview Questions: Tips for a group job interview?

I have a job interview at the movies in about a week, but it will be a group one. I have interviewed there before, but it was my first one and It was individual so I did poorly. Any and all tips or advice would be helpful!

Job Interview Success

Recommended Answer:
There are two fundamentally different types of group interviews. In the first, you are part of a group being interviewed. In the second, you as an individual face a panel. Make sure you know which you are heading into beforehand. If it is the former, make sure you exhibit positive group interactions -- the goal probably isn't (depending on the job) to be the first and loudest with the right answer. Often they want to see you be supportive of other people in the group, encouraging their input for example. If it is the second type, remain cool and make sure you make equal eye contact and interaction with everyone on the panel. Good luck!

Job Interview Questions: Can I wear a bright blue tie on a job interview?

A family member got me a big job interview and without me knowing brought a bright blue tie at the prompting of this businessman in the store who said it would exude confidence. i'm not sure about the questions they may ask, probably what previous jobs he's had, if he's handled machinery before ect.
ive got some tips though :D
      - good posture [don't slouch in the chair - it'll make you seem uninterested and not bothered about the job]
      - nod and make eye contact to tell the interviewer you understand and are taking in what he/she's saying, not just letting it slide over your head.
      - a good, firm handshake.
      - ask questions yourself, you'll seem assertive and it shows you're listening.
      good luck!
