Job Interview Questions: I have a job interview tomorrow for a real estate agent position - any tips/advice?

I'm currently 20 years old, I have no real estate experience what so ever but the employers said they're willing to give me an interview. I need some information about what to say etc, important real estate terms.. thank you!! (I'm from Western Australia if it helps)

The Ten Secrets For a Great Job Interview

Recommended Answer:
Do you even have a real estate agent license? If not, you can't be a real estate agent as it breaks the law.

I think you have been misinformed or you didn't collect the correct information for this interview tomorrow. You are probably working as an unlicensed assistant for a real estate agent or you're working for the brokerage as a receptionist or conveyancer.

There's no way to make yourself knowledgeable because it'll be easy to tell that you know nothing about real estate by the interview tomorrow. Just tell them flat out you don't know anything and you're eager to learn.

Job Interview Questions: What color pants would you wear a black top with for a job interview?

I feel like black and gray is still too dark, and other neutrals like brown and white would look weird. Why do they even make black dress shirts or am I over thinking this?

PS. The black top I have, has very small white polka-dots. They're quite small - it's not a loud print or anything. Do you think that flair of white is enough contrast to wear the black top with black pants?

High Paying Job Interview Tips

Recommended Answer:
Khaki dress pants? Do you have a pair of *light* gray pants?

Black dress shirts tend to look good with dark wash jeans, but jeans are too casual for an interview. Brown or white pants would look weird.

I think black pants would be too much black, even with the white polka dogs.

Do you have another dress shirt? LOL

Our Six-Step Guide to a Successful Job Interview

  • my ideas:
-Pin stripe black pants with a black/ white/ grey top
-for what you want i would go with black pants ( job interview=formal duh! haha) but instead of your top, put some color in it! go with a blue or purple ( winter season) but if you want to go neutral go with a grey or cream plain sweater. & always add an accent of jewelry! long necklace, big ring, etc!
hope your interview goes well! (:

  • oh it sounds like a cute shirt, I personally think that a black pant with white pinstripes would be the best option

    -hope this helps<3
good luck with the interview, stay calm you'll do fiine

  • i think that the small white accent on the shirt is enough white in the outfit to be able to wear it with black pants.
gray pants would look pretty too.
or even white pants (despite what they say white is ok to wear after labor day!)

  • Well it depends on what kind of job interview it is. If its for an office job in a large building then either white top w/ black pants or black top w/ white pants (plain black is better but its your choice)

  • I think black pants would look good. You could also accessorize with a silver bracelet or necklace to break up the black.

  • you should wear khaki pants or a skirt. like the tan khaki not the color thats almost white would look good..
    or dark jeans even..
    with high heels(:

Job Interview Questions: Good job interview hairstyles for curly hair?

I have an interview at a professional office. My hair is extremely curly and comes down to just above my shoulders. I usually wear it down. How should I wear it for my interview? Pull it all up, or just the sides? Bun or French twist? Clip or barrette?

Job Interviews: Effective Question And Answer Strategies

Recommended Answer:
I have curly hair too and on career day i wore my hair down. If its a big interview for a buisness you might wear it in a barrett or bun but wearing your hair down makes the person look ready, but stylish. So if i were doing an interview i would wear my hair down- it creates an impression of natural and more focused on work than spending an hour on hair.

Job Interview Questions: How should I check my status after having a job interview?

I had two job interviews right before the weekend and I want to know if I got any of those jobs. should I just wait patiently?

Mistakes to Avoid When Answering Tricky Job Interview Questions

Recommended Answer:
If you had them right before the weekend, wait until Wednesday. Then call. It's good to call, but if you call too early I think I might work against you (just my opinion though). Call Wednesday (or Tuesday if you just can't wait.)

Job Interview Questions: I had a job interview yesterday and the manager said he would call me today but hasn't yet?

... should I call him? He told me he would call me today whether I got the job or not to let me know. He has to call today because orientation is tomorrow and I don't know if I need to go or not unless he calls. How long should I wait before I call him (if I should)? It's 5:30 pm right now where I live. The interview was at McDonald's if that makes a difference, and I'm 17.

    Thanks!

How to Get an Interviewer to Call You After a Job Interview to Land the Job

    • Well i would phone a couple of hours later obviously before the place shut. They could think that your really interesed and committed to the job but then they could think you are being pusshy. Maybe call them in the morning as soon as they open. Hope you get the job

    • If you do not get a call. Call them to ask what happened at the last hour. If he doesn't call you do not have a job I guess.

Mistakes to Avoid When Answering Tricky Job Interview Questions

      Recommended Answer:
Different employers will ask different questions. Some are only interested in more basic questions (Why should I hire you? What sets you apart from other applicants? What would you do with an angry customer?), while others may present you with scenarios (A customer complains that his hamburger isn't completely cooked. What do you do? The co-worker who is supposed to show up to take your shift is late. What do you do?), or ask you to reflect on past experiences (Tell me about a time when you had to...). I would recommend researching a little bit about the company online before going to the interview. While your answers to their questions are important, your personality is equally - if not more - important. You can be an honors student who has won every award, but if they don't like your personality, it will really affect your chances of getting the job. So be friendly, be confident, and try to relax. Even if you don't get the job, you can take note of what you did well and what you would like to improve on for future reference. Thank the interviewer after the interview, and don't be afraid to ask questions! Not asking questions can show a lack of interest in the position.

      Good luck!

If I were you I'd go work causal. No need for a suit if you're applying to work with loading trucks. Still, it's important to be neat, so I'd where a nice shirt and a nice pair of pants (not jeans). Look neat, and sound qualified. Just let the guy interviewing you know how to handle the job. Good luck!
