The guy said he'd call me in a week, and that'd be on Thursday.

Job Interview Questions: Do you have to wear pantyhose to a job interview in healthcare?

What if you are wearing a very nice conservative black suit and black shoes. Is it necessary to wear hose? If so do they have to be off black?

Preparing For a Job Interview - How to Ace Your Job Interview and Jumpstart Your Career

Recommended Answer:
If a guy came in with a business suit and no socks, what would you think? Hose make you look more professional. Professional and well groomed make a better impression. If the interview is worth the suit, don't stop short. Skin tone would probably be a better choice. Black hose with a black suit is too much black.

Job Interview Strategies That Work - Create Your Perfect Interview Movie

  • Apparently, office attire is reverting back to the '80's when hose were worn more often. I would wear the hose to the interview, they may have a dress code for women which requires hose when wearing skirts or dresses.
Wear a suntan or nude shade. Don't wear black or off-black. You're not going to a funeral.

  • How old are you ? Did your mother teach you nothing?
A lady wears hosiery to a job interview if she wants the job! You can go into the ladies room directly after wards and strip them off if you want, but go properly dress for the interview. As the one gentleman said , how would you feel if a guy went to an interview in a suit and no socks with his shoes?
(Rolling my eyes over common sense issue!)

  • I would advise you to wear pantyhose to the inerview.

  • I'm sure you're going to get hired cause you wore the pantyliners.

The 7 Most Common Job Interview Questions

  • Questions to expect in the job interview.

Tell me a little about yourself. This is always a tough one because you may be asking yourself “what do they want to know?” Focus on your skills, abilities and your interests. The interviewer wants to know about you and what your plans are for the present and the future. Remember to keep the answer brief because it can set the tone for the rest of the interview.

Why do you want to work for us? Here's your chance to tell the interviewer why you chose to apply for the job. Don't say because of the pay. While it is good to be honest, that may be pushing it. This is your opportunity to talk about how this job will help you and mention your availability.

What extracurricular activities do you participate in? This is your chance to talk about you—especially to show your personality. Your extracurricular activities are a reflection of you and your interests.

Why should I hire you? Be honest. Let the interviewer know why you are the best for the job. This is your chance to “sell” yourself and set yourself apart from the other interviewees.

  • hey I'm 14 but work in the summer only got 10 hours a week anyway u have to sell yourself like come by your self so he knows that u are not a kid and he or she will ask you why do you want a job ? I want a job because I am getting bigger and want more responsibilitys and I am very hard working and I am very honest. How old are you ? what do u like to do ? When can u work ? do u have a ride to come here? my boss didn't ask me because he was going to get me a ride and just easy questions and don't worry it's in the bag LoL But Luckily I don't work at McDonald I work at a different spot where I sell ice cream and get money for golf and also He will ask u how good u are at mentel math ?all you need to do is walk in shake his hand and look him or her in the eye that means respect and listen and answer and when when u walk out do the same shake his hand and look hime or her in the eye and say good bye have a good or night Plz 10 points good luck oo yeah and plz pratice how to talk to the people who buy food very nice and if u mess up just sorry and try to talk with them and be outgoing bye good luck and 10 points thanks

Job Interview Questions: Can I take in my thank you note personally after a job interview? Or must I *mail* it in?

The interview was last Friday and I've been slow to send out the note. I neglected to get the interviewer's email address. So I have to write out my note. If I mail it in, she'll get it Friday or Saturday (she works weekends too). Dropping off the note personally and asking the receptionist to give it to the interviewer would obviously be quicker. But could it be perceived as odd, creepy or just irresponsible since I didn't mail it in a timely fashion? Am I overthinking?

Recommended Answer:
Do mail it. Do not email it or walk it in. It may look lazy and/or pushy. I think people appreciate getting handwritten "thank you" notes. It shows a commitment and effort on your part.

    • Black minimizes size, so I would wear a red shirt or something more vibrant. Jeans or kacky pants with clean shoes.

Be sure that you are groomed well (clean and a smile).

Be prepared to tell why you want the job and why you want to work with children.
You may be subject to DOJ (Dept. of Justice) exam which just checks to see if you have any record of child abuse (no biggie). Your employer will pay for this.

You may be asked how do you react to pressure? Working with kids is important and no one wants a hothead working with children.

Expert Job Interview Advice From Someone Doing the Hiring

    Recommended Answer:
Times are tough right now, I'd wear a suit. But dress conservative, no jewelry, hair cut, pay attention to your shoes... many interviewers look at the shoes to see if you are the type to pay attention to detail.

But depends on the position you are applying for. Management? Definitely a suit. Salesperson? Suit minus the jacket. Best to err on the dressier side, but don't wear an armani suit or anything, or the people will think you don' tneed a job.

    Hope I helped..

What to Do Before, During and After a Job Interview

    • Many peeps get stuck when they are aiming to settle what to wear at an interview. Personally I'm from the old school, I believe that formal wear is never inappropriate; you can get some tips from the site in the box below, they also have loads of advice on job seeking.

    • Business casual is sufficient. I used to work there last year seasonally and I wore a business casual outfit. No need to overdress. Simply wear formal pants and a nice dress shirt with black polished shoes. That is plenty right there. It is more important in the way you present yourself and how you talk. That will say you a professional.

    • Shirt and tie for EVERY interview. No exceptions.

    • dress fashionably. like, nice dress pants, and a dress shirt in a color that stands out but isnt too bold.

Job Interview Questions: What should I wear to my job interview?

I have a job interview at a smoothie stand inside of an athletic store. I want to dress up for the interview so I'll make a good impression but I don't want to over-do it (the employees wear t-shirts, gym shorts, and running shoes). What can I wear that will look sophisticated and put together but still semi-casual?

If Job Interviews Scare the Snot Out of You

    Recommended Answer:
Never wear blue jeans while attending a job interview. Casual job interview attire is not advisable if you are serious in getting the job.
The general rule is to opt for conservative shades and designs. Bright checked shirts, loud colored blouses, and odd designed dresses are not to be worn at all.
You have to ensure that the set of dress you have decided to wear for your interview is sparklingly fresh and without any crease marks whatsoever. Also ensure that the shirt is buttoned up fully when attending the interview.

Job Interview Tips - What To Do Before And During The Interview

    • A nice pair of dark or medium jeans with flats and maybe a tweed coat or a trench with a pretty blouse might work, but if you are looking for something a bit more casual, some shorts with a long sleeve t shirt and sandals would be cute.

    • no bootie shorts! Shorts about a bit over the knee with a nice polo, or a longsleeve striped or plaid shirt. nice and plain would do the trick. nice gladiator sandals or basic flats. good luck, hope you get it!
