Knowing Some Job Interview Tips and Questions

Recommended Answer:
I am sure you have stopped by your library or bookstore and already read a book on
how to ace an interview.
Also you can google the company name followed by the word wikepedia to research the history.
And don't forget to keep up with the website for latest news...

The Secret Revealed Behind Tricks That Interviewers Use During Job Interviews

  • Go to the homepage of the company you are interviewing with and learn about the company so that when they say "what do you know about us?" you can answer with a brief overview. It doesn't have to be War and Peace just the Cliff Notes version.

There are common questions asked by interviewers - one is usually "tell me about yourself" and that means tell about your work history/college background and how you would be a good fit for the position you are interviewing for.

There are some other questions that are common, and a good resource is Monster.com.

Finally, make sure you have questions for them. Do not leave the interview without questions, and it's okay to write them all down. Make sure one of the questions is "what is your timeline for making a decision?" or something similar.

Have a "closing" for when you depart about why you would be the best candidate for the job.

    Good luck.

  • you don't need to read a book, simply be yourself and be honest.

Job Interview Questions: Job Interview, back ground check and Saliva Drug test. How long does alcohol stay?

So I had an interview and they tested me for alcohol and drugs with saliva. I drunk On friday night, and this is monday. do you think it can be detected. Also In a background check what they looking for. I stopped working at my last job because i was wrongfully fired, will them finding that out stop them from hiring me?

Job Interview Skills: What Does The Employer Want To Hear?

Recommended Answer:
As long as you are of age, it wont matter if they do find alcohol in your system. I think it only lasts a few hours after your last drink. If your not feeling buzzed or drunk youre probably ok. Theyre just looking for drugs and other criminal defenses. If you were wrongfully fired, i doubt that will matter when hiring you unless they have reason to believe you were rightfully fired, even then, its not a deal breaker

Mistakes to Avoid When Answering Tricky Job Interview Questions

  • They might pick up traces of alcohol, but it will not be a problem for you because the level of alcohol metabolite from a friday night drinking will not be significant enough to set off alarm for the test.

When they perform background check they are mainly looking for criminal records; In your case I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Keys to Successful Employment - Professional Job Interview Tips

Recommended Answer:
I'd recommend a charcoal gray or dark navy blue skirt suit. Stay away from loud patterns like bold pinstripes or plaids. I'd also say a white, gray, or powder blue blouse would be good; they're basic pieces and will work for many ocassions. Also, the reason I said a skirt suit is because it is professional, but a pants suit may say "business" a little too strongly for a funeral.

As for where to get them, check out any department store (Macys, Penneys, Kohls, etc) or specialty store (Express, The Limited, etc.).
