Top 7 Ways to Prepare For a Successful Job Interview

  • I was always told to dress like I was going to work when going to an interview. If they have a specific uniform then just dress nicely and in the best clothes you have. Be presentable, don't show a lot of skin or piercings or such.
Dress like you're going to church or to a wedding, lol.

    Good luck!

  • i would wear a pencil skirt and a skin colored blouse if possible
also wear a black cardi over the blouse and good luck hun xx

Job Interview Questions: Is it okay to have painted nails for a job interview?

I have an interview tomorrow at a trendy clothing store. I've heard that it's considered unprofessional to go to an interview with painted nails, but do you think this is an exception? Or is this standard completely old-fashioned? If I went with painted nails, they would probably be a dark purple color. Also, if you have any advice as to anything else that I should do to prepare for my interview, please feel free to include suggestions.

HOW to Answer Job Interview Questions

Recommended Answer:
For a fashion job I'd say yes to polish, no to purple. You want to look professional and you want to look good. The person doing the interview is going to decide whether you're someone that they would want to buy clothing from as well as if you look like you're someone who should be making fashion suggestions. Keep it simple, keep it clean, don't try to make a fashion statement.
If possible make sure you know as much as you can about the lines the store carries.
Smile like you're finally home.
Best of luck!

Types of Job Interview Questions

  • If it were me, and I wanted some polish on my nails, I would go with a pale pastel shade or something neutral. Once you get hired, (good luck with the interview) you can see what the others wear and conform with them.

  • it's a TRENDY clothing store. So, I don't think anything is wrong with that. As long as its not a loud color where its distracting the interviewer. dark purple is fine.

  • yes it is sooooooo okay you wany to look yor best

How about some brown or white linen trousers with a floral top and gladiators or flips flops?

Not too smart, but smarter than wearing jeans.

Nothing that nice, because you seem like one who wouldn't do a lot of laborous work like you would find there. I would recommend a button up collared shirt and khaki pants and nice shoes.
No blazer but a tie is up to you.

  • Most importantly be clean, clean hair and hands/nails. Just not trashy clothes or clothes with holes in them. If you have long hair tie it back. Smile -- a lot!! This is extremely important.

McDonald's employees wear uniforms anyway so what you wear to the interview is not so important as your personal grooming and attitude/personality. Remember, you will be handling someone's food so I cannot stress the cleanliness enough.

Job Interview Questions: What to expect for a job interview at a hospital?

I'm a 16 year old guy whose first job interview is tomorrow. I'm applying for a job as a Food Service Aid, but I'm not totally sure what the whole deal is with these interviews.
What do they ask? How long is it? Talk about Payments?

Can someone just tell me everything to expect.

Job Interview - How Your Body Language Can Affect Your Interview

Recommended Answer:
What ever you do dont ask about pay. It looks really bad and is kind of rude. Make sure to know how much you can expect to get paid before you go in their. Usally they'll like to keep it short but make sure they know what they are buying tends to be longer if its going good, so 15-25 min bad 25-35min is good. They ask pretty general questions so know use worrying about revising just go in their and tell the truth.

P.S dont forget to make a good first impression.
