    1) It doesn't matter weather the position is for a janitor or an engineer you must take the time to figure out what is important to the employer.

Job Interview Secrets and Best Practices That Land Job

Recommended Answer:
If it is really bright I would advise taking it off. Clear nail polish or a soft color is usually acceptable. On a tangent, if you are going to be working at Starbucks long fingernails will break. They should not be longer than 1/8th of an inch.

Job Interview Skills: Increase Your Skills In This Vital Area!

  • If you'd like to have polish on then just have a clear polish. Once you get the job you can ask your boss if they care about whether you have colored polish on the job.

  • Since I can't see it, I would remove it.

Job Interview Questions: Should there be a job interview through yahoo messenger?

I was applied for this Accounting position online.I sent a resume and after 1 week I received an email telling me they would like to interview me through yahoo messenger. Just then I realized it is a work from home type of job. They never give me the company phone number or location or anything like that. The company called " Global Data Entry". I was wondering is anyone know about thing at all???

The CAR Method Is An Effective Job Interview Technique

Recommended Answer:
Never heard of it but if they ask you for money they aren' to be trusted.

Instead, why not sell your unwanted stuff on ebay. When you get the hang of it you can offer to sell other people's unwanted stuff on ebay.
All you need from them is what they would want to get for it, (when you are good you will tell them what they will get for it) take a photo of it then when it sells, go there, pay them the money keeping your cut then post the item off.

How to Succeed at Your Job Interview

  • I've actually heard some good things about on line interviews. They save time, money and cut down on travel expenses. Of course, you have to be careful about who you're dealing with and how much personal information you give out.

Also, there should be some kind of way that you can reach the company AND the interviewer through a number under the company's name and taken out of a phone book. I understand the interviewer wouldn't be in the book, but a call to the company and being transferred to Human Resources, then the interviewer would suffice, no?

I would insist upon these conditions before going through with the interview and barring any trouble there, why not? This is the twenty-first century, by the way.

  • By all means No. do not do an interview through Yahoo! Messenger.
Please Read the Below information I've researched for you.

Job Interview Questions: I got a tattoo across my neck yesterday of an eagle, how can i remove it (i have a job interview next week)?

The eagle's wings stretch all the way around my neck with the body at the back, i also had "forsaken" written across my knuckles earlier on in the month. I regret doing this and I'd just like to know the quickest method of removing them. As I stated I have a job interview in a few days so speed is necessary.

When the Promising Job Interview Turns Up Empty - You Can Still Win! Interview Tips and Strategy

Recommended Answer:
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAAAAA!!!!!!

you cant just bleach those things! they're ******* tattoos! they're in the second layer of your skin! you can have them removed by lazer surgery and that takes many appointments spaced over weeks each at an hour or more long! and it costs LOADS!!

and there's no way of doing it yourself before you get the cheese grater out.

8 Tips For Doing Well on Your Big Job Interview

  • there is no quick solution to getting them permanently removed. Removing a tattoo costs a lot of money and many painful laser treatments which can take weeks or months depending on the size and color gradient. But if you just want it to go away for the job or something, a turtle neck or foundation(preferably theatre makeup like ben nye) can cover it up for you and no one would even know that you had it.

And if you must you can always remove it after the interview and you get the money to pay for it.

  • it is impossible to have them completely removed in a few days, you probably should have thought of that befor you got them. you can get laser removal, but that is a long process and leaves scars, and blisters for awhile after, there is a product called wrecking balm that fades tattoos slowly over time.
but it is impossibe to have it completely removed in a few days, sorry, try wearing a scarf

  • i almost feel like this question is fake because of how ridiculous it is
there is no way to remove a permanent tattoo in just a few days
you can cover it with a product called dermablend which is for covering tattoos
unless these are temporary tattoos, they're going to be there for a long time

  • rosie,what a...horrible situation!sorry! but it is the truth!the knuckle part is....the worse!someone suggested sephora...run there.it is cold so a turtleneck can do...for now!
and then star googling PERMANENT ( tattoo) removal.
but i guess that since it will take time you are going to have to tell your employers about this!because while the knuckle ones could be "easier" to remove you´ll still scar...it also depends of the position you are applying for.
    greatest of lucks!

  • You probably won't be able to remove it that fast. Try covering it up. Kat Von D has a product to completely cover tattoos like they aren't even there.

    www.sephora.com/browse/product.jh…

  • I really hope this is a fake question, why didn't you think it through before you done it ,your only option is to use tattoo cover up and start getting laser treatment

  • I don't think it's possible to get rid of them. For the interview, you could try covering them up with foundation, cover up or powder.

  • Dermabrasion and epsom salts.

  • You are ******* retarded.

  • Google usually has the answers.(:

  • You cant.
Removal takes time and booking an appointment will take months

  • the whole idea of tatoos is permanent!you should have listened to your parents when they said no

Job Interview Questions: Appropriate outfit for a job interview to work with children or homelessness?

I realize it depends on the organization, but I'm a recent college grad, applying to as many jobs as I can. I don't have time to visit all of them before an interview.
If I get an interview, should I wear a suit, or just dress pants and a button up blouse? Or something else? Honestly, I have no clue!
Note: this is East Coast, Virginia.

Job Interview Weaknesses - How to Overcome These Common Job Interview Weaknesses

Recommended Answer:
A suit is always appropriate for an interview, skirt suit or pants suit doesn't matter, as long as it fits well and is not provocative. Dress pants and a button up blouse is too casual for the interview. That may be what you wear to the job, but not to the interview. As for shoes, wear some that are safe and comfortable for walking in case you are taken on a tour of the facility.

Job Interview Help - Some Things That Might Help You Ace Your Job Interview

  • dress pants and a button up blouse, but not TOO fancy. my mom owns a food bank in my town she HATES it when someone comes in for an interview wearing fancy things. you're trying to help the poor, why would you dress like your rich in fancy suits? and do you think children would wanna talk, play, and listen to you if you're wearing something so formal? cause if you wear something so formal to an interview, the people are gonna think "hey, she dresses like that all the time!" the human mind just works like that.

i would really recommend wearing a dress shirt and leggings that go to your ankles, and cute sandals. dressy, but also casual.
(it it seems sluttish to wear leggings under a shirt to you, wear jeggings)

Job Interview Questions: What should i wear to a job interview in a drug store ?

I was thinking about wearing black linen trousers and black sandals but isn't sure what to wear on my top half.
I might wear a plain white t-shirt which is tight but aren't sure.
The shop i got an interview in is Good Deal ( kinda like pound land or 99p shop) so its nothing fancy.
Bear in mind i'm only 16.

Recommended Answer:
Never wear sandals to an interview. And maybe try a polo shirt. Even if the store isn't fancy, it's worth your time to make yourself look presentable, not cool.

Job Interview Questions: Is it okay to have painted nails for a job interview?

I have an interview tomorrow at a trendy clothing store. I've heard that it's considered unprofessional to go to an interview with painted nails, but do you think this is an exception? Or is this standard completely old-fashioned? If I went with painted nails, they would probably be a dark purple color. Also, if you have any advice as to anything else that I should do to prepare for my interview, please feel free to include suggestions.

HOW to Answer Job Interview Questions

Recommended Answer:
For a fashion job I'd say yes to polish, no to purple. You want to look professional and you want to look good. The person doing the interview is going to decide whether you're someone that they would want to buy clothing from as well as if you look like you're someone who should be making fashion suggestions. Keep it simple, keep it clean, don't try to make a fashion statement.
If possible make sure you know as much as you can about the lines the store carries.
Smile like you're finally home.
Best of luck!

Types of Job Interview Questions

  • If it were me, and I wanted some polish on my nails, I would go with a pale pastel shade or something neutral. Once you get hired, (good luck with the interview) you can see what the others wear and conform with them.

  • it's a TRENDY clothing store. So, I don't think anything is wrong with that. As long as its not a loud color where its distracting the interviewer. dark purple is fine.

  • yes it is sooooooo okay you wany to look yor best

Job Interview Questions: Wearing a wedding ring to job interview?

I am going for a job interview for a receptionist to a roofing company today. Do you think that I should wear my wedding ring?

Job Interview Dress Code - Dressing for Success

Recommended Answer:
Unfortunately there are still employers around who are reluctant to employ young married women for fear they will get pregnant, go on maternity leave and expect lots of payouts.
I would avoid wearing your ring but if asked if you are married you must be honest if they find out you lied at the interview it could be grounds for dismissal.

Good luck

Top 10 Tips for Excelling in a Panel Job Interview

  • Wear the ring. I'm surprised you even asked the question. The rting signifies your marriage which should be more important than the views of anyone, even an employer. trust me if an employer would make detrimental decision based on a wedding ring then you don't want to be working there. God knows what behavious may abound in the office environment. Check oput www.bestonlinebeatmaker.com for loads of great advice and help on interviews. Best of luck though

  • I don't see anything wrong with wearing your wedding ring. It doesn't effect your skills does it?

  • Yes you should. A wedding ring should have nothing to do with an interview.

Top 6 Tips For Giving a Great Job Interview and Getting a Job

  • It all depends on what kind of job, if you were going for a position in a retail fashion store I would say go right ahead. You would need to display a variety of fashion trends and would be acceptable. A headband would be cute but the one in the picture might be too big. Something pretty like that but scaled down so that it would not be too much of an attention getter. You want to be professional and presentable but not over the top.

  • Well, quite honestly i dont find it appropriate. I think you should blow out or straighten your hair and save the headband for off work hours. The headband is cute, but dressing and looking mature helps a lot.

    Good luck with your interview!!!:)

  • i think the flowers stand out too much i think they are too big to be appropriate for a job interview. If the flowers weren't that big then yes

  • Yes.

That one? NO. Save it for a more formal event.

  • yes its perfectly fine and thats a cute headband

  • Yeah it's fine :)
