Job Interview Questions: What to say for a weakness at a job interview?

I dont know what to say and I want to say something that could turn positive any suggestions?

Essentials of Job Interviewing

Recommended Answer:
Hello,

The truth is, they really don't care what your weaknesses are. They care about how you handle the question and what your response indicates about you.

The trick to answering this question is to identify a new skill you're learning or planning to develop — something that is only a "weakness" because you haven't yet mastered it.

I hope this helps :-)

Job Interview Questions: Are jeans ok for a job interview at Superdry?

I know most employment experts advise not to wear jeans, but I know of someone who works at the Superdry concession at House of Fraser; they wore jeans and a Superdry t-shirt to their interview.

My interview is with the actual store and I'm thinking of doing the same, with a pair of boots, is this a bad idea?
Will I look too casual wearing jeans? Or too desperate and predictable wearing a t-shirt from the actual brand?

Types of Job Interview Questions

Recommended Answer:
Pat is right

always over dress for an interview

How to Prepare for Your Sales Job Interview

  • I would definitely not wear the superdry t shirt, you wouldn't know what to expect, so why take the risk? when you can always be on the safer side to wear formal trousers and a shirt, but trendy hairstyle and shoes for this purpose.
    good luck.

  • Jeans are never a good idea for a job interview.

Job Interview Questions: What kind of clothes should i wear for a job interview at a rock climbing gym?

i have an interview for a regular employee position at a rock climbing gym so what should i wear? i don't want to be too formal, or too lax, but its a climbing gym right? this is minimum wage job position any ideas?

What to Do Before, During and After a Job Interview

Recommended Answer:
Like all job interviews - somewhat dressy. I wouldn't recommend a suit/tie or power suit, but a pair of slacks/skirt and a button up shirt/blouse would be good. Probably comfortable, practical shoes (not heels, etc.).
Do not wear what you would climbing...save that for the job (if that's the dress code for employees).

Job Interview Essentials

  • Obviously those who said be dressy never been to a climbing gym before or have realized how laid back it is. First off if you walk into a climbing gym wearing a suit blouse they`re probably going think you know nothing about climbing. It`ll lead them to believe that you`re too strict or dont know what climbing is about. I`d show up in a pair of decent jeans and a t shirt or nice shirt. Dont get your hair all done and dont wear tons of makeup. I`d also bring a gym bag along with clothes that you can climb in, this way you can change after the interview and climb in the gym. It`ll show that you really enjoy climbing and climb any chance you get.

After the interview ask the person interviewing you if there is a place you can change because you want to climb

  • I always make it a point to be somewhat dressy for any interview, regardless of the job type. You should just wear black or gray dress pants, a nice button down and dressy flats. It shows that youre not trying to over-do it, but that you are professional.

  • Wear what you'd like to work in if it could pass for new and smells fresh.
In my case that would be black synthetic body stocking leaving feet, hands
and neck upwards exposed. I prefer to climb wearing black boots, helmet
    and don't use chalk.

  • I would say jeans, a nice blouse, good shoes (not worn), and do your makeup well (I suggest doing it pretty nude). The jeans make it less formal, but you look like you care.

  • i would say NICE yoga style pants, a nice shirt/blouse, casual flats/nice shoes ( nice fancy workout gear)

  • climbing boots and a bowline.

Job Interview Questions: I have a job interview tomorrow - should I mention my weekly counseling appointments?

I have an interview for a job as a receptionist. If I got the job, I would need to take about 1.5 hours off once a week for my cognitive-behavioural therapy sessions. Should I mention this during my interview -- and if so, how should I phrase it? (I would just say that it's for medical reasons.)

How to Be Prepared For All Types of Job Interviews

Recommended Answer:
do not and change your therapy session for late afternoons and/or change therapist

How To Stand Out From The Crowd At Job Interviews

  • Yes, tell them that. They won't ask any more details.

  • You should be clear that you need the hours off, if they need details tell them its medical, they shouldn't need much more than that, it is called PRIVACY. If its not going to effect how well you work and being there, than it shouldn't need to come up in detail.

  • you would be honest and tell.l good luck.if you cant be honest with them, then find a job that you can be honest about things.the person interviewing you that you have an appt.for medical reasons. if she pried futher, then say it's for behavorial therapy.if they cant accept the truth, then you need to look elsewhere for work.god bless.

Job Interview Questions: How do you answer this job interview question?

WHY DO YOU THINK WE SHOULD HIRE YOU ?. I really need help im not good at job interviews.

Job Interview Mistakes!

Recommended Answer:
The purpose of that question is to get you to talk about how you could benefit the company and/or department that you would be working in. Before your interview, make sure that you know a thing or two about the company. Then, think about how your skills, education, and experience could benefit the company.

For example, if you are interviewing for an IT position, talk about your education, certifications (A+, MCSE, CCNA, etc.), and your specialties. If it is a customer service job, talk about any previous customer service experience you have, accomplishments, recognitions, etc.

5 Simple Rules for A Great Job Interview

Recommended Answer:
You can go online and find lists of typical interview questions. The biggest thing about an interview is being chill and honest. Basically you're just having a two way conversation with someone who is trying to get to know you. Make sure you ask questions about the company and management so you know it's a place you want to work at.
Mostly you want to be relaxed and confident. Don't worry if you get the job or not, because worrying will only make it worse.

Couple of interview questions that have thrown me off in past were:

What are my goals for the future?
Name three adjectives to describe myself.

Job Interview Questions: Should I bring in a cover letter with my resume for my job interview?

I applied at Subway and today a lady called me saying I had a job interview for tomorrow morning. I applied online and they never asked for a resume, but should I bring one in anyways when I go to the interview? And should I bring in a cover letter for it? If so, what types of things should I write on a cover letter for a job I already got an interview for? Thanks!!

Job Interview Skills: Four Critical Mistakes to Avoid!

Recommended Answer:
You should bring a resume in case they ask for it, and perhaps even mention at some point that you brought a resume. They might not even want one, because the point of the resume is to give them all the details of your education and work experience, and these things are not as important in this kind of job. They want to interview you to see if you're the kind of person they want to hire--cheerful, clean and well-groomed, willing to work hard, good with people.

The point of the cover letter is to 'introduce' the resume. But if you hand it to the interviewer and say 'This is my resume', that's introduction enough. If they even want it, it will go in the file with your application and perhaps the notes of the person who interviewed you.

Prepare for a Great Job Interview With These Questions and Answers

  • I don't think it matters too much for subway to be honest with you.
Typically you have a cover letter with a resume you are leaving with a receptionist or secretary for the employer to read.

When being interviewed personally it is redundant to have a cover letter attached, since you are right there for the employer to ask questions.
