Job Interview Questions: Tips for Safeway Job Interview?

I'm having a Safeway job interview tomorrow! I was wondering that kind of questions do they ask you? What should I answer them? Also, DO I need to to bring a RESUME?

Job Interview Questions to Ask Potential Employers - The Do's & Don'ts

Recommended Answer:
I was interviewed at Bloom two weeks ago so maybe this will help.

What are the top five important things when it comes to food. Name a time in your life when you had to step up and initiate something. Name a time when you were working in a group and not everyone agreed with something, how did you solve the problem? Describe yourself using one word. What makes you different from everyone else that wants this job? What sort of attribute will you bring into the grocery store? Have you volunteered anywhere? If so, where and what activity did you do? What is your biggest weakness/something you can improve on? What is your best quality?

Notice how they all deal with team work, and being the first person to "step up" and be a leader.

I don't really think it matters too much how you answer those types of question. I think it's just to see what type of person you are, and if you're a maniac or something. In fact, I did not prepare for this interview at all! I totally winged it :)

When they called me for an interview, they just told me to bring two forms of identification, so I didn't need a resume.

Hope this helps, and good luck!

5 Tips For a Successful Job Interview

    • There really is no need to write a thank you letter to the company if you get the job, as you can say it in person and if you wish to write a "thank you for opportunity" letter, if you don't get the job, then his details will be on the letterhead so you shouldn't have to ask

Preparing to Answer Job Interview Questions

    • I would suggest wearing nice and casual clothing. I have had to do a phone interview once for a job at a tanning salon, and they asked questions like
On a scale of 1 to 10, how important is money to you in a job?
Have you ever had to multitask or handle hectic situations? If so, how did you handle it?
What does customer satisfaction mean to you?
They would give me a situation like: If one person comes in to tan, and another wants to buy lotion, and you still need to clean off a tanning bed, How would you handle that and in what order would you handle the given tasks?
ummmm questions like Are you responsible and stuff like that.
You mostly just have to answer all happy and cheery and act like you know what your talking about.
I just answered and said what I thought she wanted to hear. I think it worked though she called me back for a second interview (although I had another job so i didn't take it)
Good luck!!Can someone help with my question?
      answers.yahoo.com/question/index?…

    • You need to be prepared to talk about yourself and your positive attributes. For most jobs its important to have just been studying whatever topic you are working in. Relax, smile - it's sitting down and having a conversation with someone.

If it's your first, then mainly they will ask you questions.
Be honest and elaborate in a positive way with your answers.

    • wear nice clothes ask them hours

Job Interview Questions: What would JC Penney ask in a job interview?

I have a job interview in 4 days at JC Penney and I have absolutely no clue what the questions will be. I have only worked one two jobs in my life. I'm 16 and I worked at my mom's restaurant as a waitress/cashier and I am currently working at a day camp as a councelor.

Help, I Have to Prepare For My Job Interview!

    Recommended Answer:
I work in retail and some of the questions will involve your prior experience. They will probably ask you how you've dealt with difficult customers or situations when you were working as a cashier and what, if anything, you would do differently today.

Another good response to have prepared is to tell your interviewer about any instances that demonstrate when you have gone above and beyond your regular job responsibilities i.e. staying at the restaurant late, cleaning up, helping to close - especially during the holidays.

Most importantly, emphasize to them that you will be a reliable, responsible employee and they should be satisfied with your qualifications.

    Good Luck :)

Job Interview Questions: What does a 14 year old bring and wear to a job interview at a grocery store?

I am going to be working in a grocery store in New York, and I'm 14, what should i be wearing to the job interview? What do i bring to the job interview? Anything else i need to know? This will be my first interview for a job, so i need to know what will happen throughout the entire interview.

The Top 5 Tips to Mastering a Job Interview

      Recommended Answer:
Rule of thumb is for an interview, you dress one level up then what you would normally wear at work. So take a look at what people usually wear there. If you are a guy, a collar button up shirt and khakis would suffice. Since you're only 14, I'd bring your birth certificate and social security card as two forms of identification.

They will just ask you simple questions to get to know you better and decide if you'd make a good employee, just be honest, I'm sure they know it's your first job and it will be fine

Tips For Facing a Job Interview

      • Be yourself, answer truthfully and carefully.

Wear smart casual, tidy hair clean shoes.

Do some research about the store, where to they need help, how could they increase their takings?

These points will impress store manager.

      • I would go in my birthday suit just because I assume they would be giving you a uniform, and it would get hot if you had the uniform over your clothes.
