Job Interview Questions: Tomorrow I'm going to solarium administrator job interview. Should my clothes be official or daily but nice?

Tomorrow I'm going to solarium job interview. I should work here a solarium administrator, selling solarium services. How should I look? I mean I was working as administrator in the offices and dressed officially black suit and mini skirt with high-heels. But here's a leisure field. So should I look more conservative or free? How should I look?

Useful Tips in Handling Job Interviews

Recommended Answer:
I say you should look conservative a nice pair of slacks and a button up or a blouse or you can wear a skirt that hits just below the knees and if you wear a skirt i suggest you wear high heels and not boots. No matter how there dressing in the office whether its very casual you should never show up to the interview that way. I wore slacks and a button up to a Kmart interview.

Nifty Tips For Winning a Job Interview - A Must Look

  • i always find it easier to answer those kind of questions if you look or try to remember what the people were wearing there at the place you'd be working, then wear something similar to that... it usually works, then ur not too dressed up or under dressed.

  • Look At What Other People Are Wearing.
But Make It Look A Bit Smart, Add A Blazer, If You Arent Going To Wear A Suit.
And Wear Heels, They Always Look Smart, Within Reason.. =]

  • First off, you should NEVER wear a mini skirt to any place of business unless it's on a stage with a pole!!! You are representing a company and the company if reviewed by the appearance of the employees. If you represent yourself in that manner, than what are people saying about the business?! I would go to BostonProper.com and look up the clothing and wear professional clothing. That makes you stand out and you never know, some other company might see you and want to hire you with better pay. Good Luck

Job Interview Questions: What are the examples of questions in a job interview and please provide an example answer.?

Every time I have an interview my brain is always blackout. Can't think any answer. Please answer. Thank you!

Useful Tips in Handling Job Interviews

Recommended Answer:
These are the basic questions commonly asked at interviews:

1. Tell me about yourself.
Keep the answer job or skill related.

2. Why did you leave your last job?
Never refer to a major problem with management or say undesirable things about your supervisors, co-workers or the organization. Keep smiling and talk about leaving for a positive reason such as an opportunity, or a chance to do something better.

3. What is your weakness?
Always try to give a positive answer. For example, "It takes me a long time to get ready in the morning, so I set my alarm two hours ahead of my time in for work."

4. What are your strengths?
Sell yourself. Say how you can be a desirable employee for the company.

5. Why should we hire you?
This is your chance to show why working for the company is important to you and why you think you will fit in. Don't mention other applicants for comparison.

6. Are you a team player?
The answer should always be a yes then cite examples. You may mention situations where you were part of a group or organization, and the activities you've had that show you worked well with them.

7.Tell me about your ability to work under pressure.
You may say that you thrive under certain types of pressure. Give an example that relates to the type of position applied for.

8. How do you see yourself five years from now?
If you answer that you have not thought about it or you have no plans yet, the interviewer could conclude you have no vision and goals. Say something that is achievable but not too low as this could imply you lack initiative. It should be consistent with the objective on your resume and the skills you mentioned you have.

9. What are your expectations from this job/company?
You will be able to answer this question well through company research and self-assessment. Think as if you are already part of the company. You may say something like, "I expect challenging tasks."

10. Do you have any questions for me?
Always prepare questions, but those that are not answered in the company's website or those you have not discussed. Asking questions shows you are interested to know more about the company or the job.

Surprisingly, most companies ask the same kinds of interview questions depending on the level of the position you are applying for. I've provided a link below which lists the top 10 interview questions, along with a good answer for interview questions.

The key to not being so nervous in your interviews is being well prepared. If you know in advance what kinds of questions you could be asked and if you've prepared your answers, you'll do fine.

Good luck with your interview. Hope you land your dream job soon.

  • I had an interview Friday for AMC. Some questions asked were:
Describe a time you were tired, but still had work to complete:
I said: A few days ago, I had a big day at school, with tests and such. When I came home I had chores, I did them with no problem because work comes first.

Describe a time somebody was mean to you and what you did:
I had trouble with the one! I kep stuttering. At first I said, I treat everyone with respect therefor people treat me with respect. Then she was said well was there ever a time? And thats when my brain shut down! So I said to her: At the mall, I ran into a few people that were mean to me, but I just step back and I never let it get to me.

Describe a time you saw somebody breaking the rules:
I also had trouble with this question, It took me a little bit to think of an answer to this question. I ended up saying my school has a strict no hoodie and cell phone policy. I saw a few students breaking both of these rules, so I told them to remove the hoodie, because there would be consaquences.

Describe a time you did something without somebody telling you to do so:
Both of my parents work very long days at work. So I cleaned the house, because when they come home from work they both feel very tired.

It was my first interview, not to sure how I did. She said she would call me back by wed the latest, but good luck (:

I know this will seem silly, but this is only my second job to have. My first job was given to me by a family member's mother, lol.

I'm a college student and generally don't dress to kill just to go to two or three classes and come home. I have an interview at the local Wal*Mart tomorrow. How should I act? What should I wear?

Thank you so much for taking time to read this! :)

I interviewed there once. I wore black pants, black heeled granny boots, and a button down sweater. I did get the job, but I turned it down. They were very hazy about the shifts. When I asked which shift it would be, they said I had to work whichever shift they wanted. So it could have been day, then overnight, then night, etc. I wanted a solid schedule.

Job Interview Questions: Anyone else ever lost a job interview because of an election?

So i had this great job interview for a real job set up for today. But no, what happens? I get a phone call telling me they had to cancel my interview because the company is putting a hiring freeze now till further notice. Considering this came out of left field, im inclined to believe that this is due to the elections yesterday and the peoples lack of confidence in the changes made. This is just further proof of how politics can absolutely destroy jobs. Man am i po'ed.

Job Interviews -- How to Follow Up Effectively

    • You don't want to dress too professionally as this would be out of place.

Go to the store and take note of what the employees are alerady wearing and do something closer to that or a notch above. Normally slacks or khaki's and a polo shirt work well for this situation.

    • I'd ask them. Give them a call and see what the dress code is.

If they don't specify one, I'd wear smart clothing. Dressing down too much can be taken as an indication of lack of interest in the role.

    • I would wear upper casual clothing.

    • really really short shorts and a collared t-shirt
