Job Interview Questions: How do I land this job? Interview on Monday!?

I have an interview at subway on Monday. I honestly need this job. What should I do to nail this job, first job, first interview, first application and everything.

Five Powerful Body Language Tips to Ace Your Next Job Interview

Recommended Answer:
First of all, dress to impress. Usually, you would dress to fit the type of work you would be doing everyday. A nice ironed, pair of dress slacks and a white or other solid colored shirt is usually a good call. Never wear jeans, T shirts, excessive jewelery, makeup, perfume, and make sure that your fingernails and hair are neat, clean and styled. For a male, a tie isn't necessary, however a shirt with a collar will likely score you a couple of points. Dressing well indicates that you are maticulous about your appearance and will likely exhibit the same behavior at work.

When it comes to the actual interview, you should always arrive ON TIME. Maybe even ten minutes early. This tells the prospective employer that you are punctual and responsible.

It is expected that you will be nervous during the question portion of the interview. Try not to be, and make a few practice runs by yourself before the interview. Answer all questions honestly, and try to play up your strengths, since this is your first job interview. For example, if you are on the honor roll, mention that. If you have volunteered in the past, mention that.

This should help you through. Good luck.

Hopefully you dont get interviewed by the same supervisor lol as long as you left with good terms put 2 weeks in before quitting your good they wouldnt of taken the time to interview you if they didnt have the intent to hire. I would say when I left I found a career i seemed to like at first but it wasnt for me in the long run but after leaving this job I found out that this was the job for me and i want to continue to be successful here for the company and your team of employees (and so on) I could word it better but I dont know what the job is im sure you can piece it together

Master Job Interview Skills

  • Ok you need to tell the truth ina very distorted way that makes your previous employer look bad and you look like the innocent hard working mom that left due to sexist discrimination. This will show that you have dignity, strong character etc..just make up some nasty comments the guy said about u...bottom line..make it look bad! in your favor

  • Tell them that you had to resign for personal issues, and if he still pushes at it, tell him the truth. No one would deign someone a job because of that.

Job Interview Questions: I have a job interview this afternoon, but I have a really bad cold?

I have been sick for over a week, and I really though I would get better by today. I haven't had a fever, just a really bad cold or sinus infection. I feel awful. I went on another interview thursday when I was a little less sick, but I just don't know if it is rude to go when I am coughing and obviously stuffy. What should I do?

Use Good Scents for Your Job Interview

3 Job Interview Skills You Must Have to Win Your Dream Job

  • It's ok to reschedule the interview but you have to do it properly.
Speak directly to your interviewer. Most of the time, employers inform you of the person who will talk to you in the interview. Answering machines or leaving messages are a no-no - they're not only unprofessional, but you risk not having them delivered and keep people waiting (which is even more inappropriate).

Apologize and be polite when on the phone with the interviewer, and explain why (remember: valid reasons and real emergencies only) to reschedule job interview.

Request to reschedule your interview on a date that you sure you can be present, and if the interviewer agrees to it. Depending on the validity of your reason, and among all other factors, a reschedule job interview may no longer be feasible. Once a date is set, always thank the interviewer sincerely for giving you another shot at getting the job.

Once you have a reschedule job interview, show your appreciation to your prospective employer by calling in to confirm that you will be up and about during the interview. This helps diminish thoughts of insincerity and unreliability from you.

On the day of your rescheduled interview, be sure to apologize again and show all ways of courtesy. Goodluck!

  • You are in a difficult spot since today is Monday. If you would have had a weekday before today, you could have let the interviewers know and get the interview rescheduled. But now it is late enough that you are not sure how it will affect their overall schedule.

Anyways, if you are not looking like a Zombie and in your senses to appear for an interview (and audible), show up there and let them know what I said in first paragraph.

If you are still not quite audible, call them and let them know your condition. If you happen to leave a voice mail, leave a voice mail. Let them hear you.

  • Go. Then tell them that you are there but you are not feeling well but you are up to it if your snorting and coughing don't offend them interviewers.

Let them see the first ounce of your character - Dedication and truthfulness.

    I hope you nick it.

  • dude.. take dayquil.. eat some tylenol.. suck on some cough drops and rock your interview... most arent very long and 1st impressions are everything... take some meds that will kill the symptoms and be confident in your interview..

  • Go - but apologise for your condition.

Job Interview Questions: How to prepare for a job interview ?

Do you guys have any ideas of what a job interview is about ?
what are the kind of questions they can ask me if it's a job in a food market ?
thank youu xx

Prepare For Your Job Interview

Recommended Answer:
Well wear nice clothes (obviously) and give detailed answers. In a job interview they ask you why that they should take you instead of someone else. You tell them how hard working you are and all of your achievements in their job field. Be sure to speak clearly and sit up straight. Also be sure to look them in the eyes while they are talking. People notice when you are being respectful and like that. Also have good hygiene like no food stuck between your teeth. They wouldn't want to have a person who is too lazy to floss their teeth. Good luck.

Sales Job Interviews - The Most Important Preparation Question

  • Always have questions prepared to ask them so they know you are interested in the career and especially their company. Ask about anything, just make something up! like the specific history of the company, or what kind of employee they are looking for. etc... good luck!

Job Interview Questions: How would you respond to this question in a job interview?

Here is the scenario:

You just graduated and you're looking for a job in your field and you haven't found on yet. Then you get an interview for a job in your field and it's going great. Then he pops the big question: Why should I hire you? And let me rephrase this. Someone who comes in with no experience and why should I hire you over someone who has experience? What would you bring that's different??

How would you answer that question?

Job Interview Training For Managers - Will's Story

Recommended Answer:
Tell them your lack of experience can be a good thing. You don't have any bad habits or baggage that those with years of experience might come in with. You are a blank page ready to be written on by someone with expertise, like the interviewer!

Top 10 Job Interview Disasters

  • Not even most recently, you should always research and get to know the company and the job you interview for, and NOT fill the interview with questions about the company, job, money, but should be able to talk about the company and offer your knowledge and what you can offer them, not what they have to offer.

This is no longer a train as you go economy, but one who is willing to offer what they know in a field has as much chance as one who has experience, as having too much experience suggests thoughts of income, a station in a position they may have already achieved and expect in a new hire, and perhaps perks, or an apathy about the job within a new company, while merely looking for a job.

Knowing isn't always growing, and companies as much want eager as much as "yeah I know that."

If you must speak about ME, without work experience, talk about new technologies, methods, cost effective notions in being a Graduate in the field in having the education that has given you new perspectives, rather than someone who may not be as fresh as you are. This might especially apply to those out of work looking to find a job in what they have known for a long time, with pre-set, fixed ideas.

  • Because I've researched your company and I feel that I have a lot to offer. I feel that this is where I can grow and learn the most with what little experience I do have. If you give me this opportunity and I don't meet your expectations I will at least have learned from what I think is the best company in my field. Oh. And don't forget...At the end of the interview, when they ask if you have any questions for them. Simply say "When do I start"?

  • Do not bore the interviewer with "I am punctual' ,'I work hard' they have heard that from each applicant. You will be lopped in with the rest when you want to really stand out.

Try something like. I have fresh ideas and an open mind to new schools of thought that would be valuable to a growing company. The other applicants may have been doing it longer but if their same old way approach might just be why they are looking for a new job.

That would take some confidence interviewers love and at same time could cast some doubts about other candidates. It will take some balls nut you will stand out

  • wow, they usually always hire someone with experience over someone without, unless there is a basic training program then they might hire you. you just say you are eager to learn and there is no better place to start than here, go on about how you are ready and hard working, if the job needs good communication skills you talk about that too.

  • Say that you are willing to learn and earn that experience because you have to start sometime tell them that in time you are going to be the best they ever had ;)

  • The interviewer is comparing a rookie to an experienced employee. This makes the question a lot harder to answer.

  • "I am dependable and responsible. I will always be to work on time..." etc etc. Just talk to them, tell them why they should hire you!

  • You say.you are willing to work hard and learn,

Job Interview Questions: How do I have a job interview if I work full-time?

Questions For Job Interview Situations - Overcoming the Fear

Recommended Answer:
They can't fire if you are sick with flu or cold. You could lie. By law a company cannot fire you for being sick. Or a family member died. Otherwise they try to do that you can settle that with a lawyer or unemployment which you will get pay from them. That is ridiculous they are trying to threaten you like that. I would go to the interview during your sick day.
