Job Interview Questions: How would I prepare for a job interview?

Tomorrow I have an interview with MacDonalds and I would like some tips to succeed and nail the job. I have never had a job before so this is my first time experiencing this please help me.

Job Interview Issues - How To Dress To Match The Interview

    Recommended Answer:
Sit up straight, speak clearly and confidently and show enthusiasm (but don't act crazy).

    You've got this.

Questions to Ask Your Interviewer in the Job Interview

    • there are thow things that you need to pay attention to:
      1. how you look
      2. how you answer their questions.

      1. even if you interview with mcdonald's for a cashier job, you should always look as professional as a CEO! i learned that in college, and it was one of the few things that i still remember. here are some guidelines on what to wear:
Men and women should wear a suit (two pieces cut from the same cloth). Colors: dark blue, or medium to dark gray. Black is acceptable, but some find it too authoritative. Fabric: solid or subtle pinstripe, plaid or tweed.
Women: may wear conservative jewelry, no larger than dime-size earrings on the earlobe.
Men and women may carry a black, brown, or maroon leather portfolio.

if you want more details look over this page: https://sites.google.com/site/theresuman…

      2. since you don't have experience, you should probably expect a Behavioral Interview (if you don't know what that is or how to prepare for it, look here: https://sites.google.com/site/theresuman… ). Prepare answers to quesitons about yourself, about McDonalds as a company, and about this position's responsibility and how you encounter in your life similar situations with the ones the job might offer you (conflicts with co-workers, running out of time, unpleasant customers etc). If you look at the link I posted before, you'll find on the left side of the page a lot of good advice on interview prep. Look over that, I'm sure you'll find it useful.

      Hope this helped. Good luck!!

    • 1) Relax.
      2) Look him/her in the eye.
      3) Be neat.
      4) Smile when it's appropriate
      5) Ask questions about the job, the training, etc.
      6) Sit up straight.
      7) Show some eagerness and enthusiasm, like you are really looking forward to working there.
      8) Tell him/her you would like to earn a promotion after you've worked there for a while.

OK. Some of those suggestions insulted your intelligence.

Things to Do in a Job Interview

    Recommended Answer:
    Hi,

It is very natural to be nervous when you have a job interview to go for. Even the experienced ones are nervous. It is more so when it's for the first job interview.

Just prepare yourself with some of the obvious questions that will likely be asked during the interview. Feel confident about yourself. Interviewer are there to select the best candidate. They are not there to dig out our weakness or fail you for no obvious reasons. Do some preparatory work necessary before going for the job interview. For more you can visit, www.job-application-and-interview… . Practice taking long natural deep breadth, so that you remain calm and have control over your nervousness.

As for tanning salon related job interview question, you can visit www.tantalk.com/salon-management/… or www.tantalk.com/salon-management/… and have more idea on sort of questions possibly asked during the interview.

    Good luck !!

Job Interview Questions: Any advice for a job interview at Cracker Barrel?

I have a job interview tomorrow at cracker barrel. Do you guys have any advice? Just Job interview advice in general will be helpful.

Job Interview Issues - How To Dress To Match The Interview

      Recommended Answer:
Take a deep breath and relax. Leave yourself time to get there 5-10 minutes early so you seem interested, and you'll be less stressed. It's not impressive to show up exactly at the time of the interview since they'll wonder about your punctuality (you never know whose watch is set 2 minutes ahead).

Body language and habits are very important. Hold yourself professionally and make sure not to slouch. Try to sit still and not engage in any distracting habits like playing with your hair, because the interviewer will focus on this. Practice shaking hands (firm but not overly strong) as this will be one of the first impressions you make.

Speak with confidence. Try to avoid using the word "like" or "um". Smile a lot and be genuinely cheerful. Make sure to answer the interviewers' questions without giving extra detail that could count against you (for instance, don't launch into a long story if that's not what they're asking). It helps to practice answering common questions (What's your best/worst quality? Why do you want to work here? Describe a stressful situation and how you handled it. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? If you google it, you should be able to find lists online).

      Good luck :)
