Job Interview Questions: I have a job interview for a telemarketing job, what should I wear?

I have a job interview tomorrow for a non-profit company that handles fund raising events. The position I am being considered for involves calling people from a list I am given and asking them about donations and such. What should I wear for this interview?

5 Types of Job Interviews

Recommended Answer:
Business casual attire. Even though you probably won't be wearing business attire, it's still a good idea to present yourself proffesionally. It shows them that you care about your image.

  • Hello,

I suggest dressing neatly and conservatively. You want to project the best possible image of yourself, so plan and prepare a neat, businesslike outfit. You can't go wrong with a business suit. Even if the company has explicitly stated that it's a “business casual” workplace, stick with the suit. An interview is not the time to express your unique fashion sense; it's the time to show you know when it's time to follow the rules and traditions of business.

Good luck at your interview! :-)
