If you've had experience working at camps, coaching a team, previous experience lifeguarding you could say your good with children. You could say you've got a good understanding of swim strokes and this knowledge makes you a good swim instructor (if you've had experience on a swim team or previous jobs teaching swim lessons you should mention that).
If your just going to be lifeguarding for this job, you could say that your a very punctual person and won't be late for shifts or that you understand the seriousness of the job and would always be vigilant when your guarding the pool.
