Job Interview Questions: Abercrombie job interview?

I have a abercrombie kids job interview tomorrow, and I just want to know from someone who has went about what type of questions and about how many.
    thanks!

Job Interviewing Techniques - 8 Steps for Successful Interviews

    Recommended Answer:
I worked at Fitch- but the questions were very basic and the interview didn't last long. Nothing really stumped me but I can't remember any specific questions that were asked. Be prepared for a potential group interview, as Abercrombie tends to get a lot of applicants and the employee turnover is quick. I was interviewed by the Assistant Manager and two other applicants were interviewed with me.

Abercrombie is all about being "natural" so don't have any facial piercings in or any more than one in each ear. No crazy hair highlights or makeup either (they used to make me wash mine off if it was noticeable).

Job Interview Questions: I have a job interview at walmart tomorrow. Help?

I have a job interview tomorrow and I need some advice. What to wear and how should I carry myself. Another thing is: The last job I had only lasted 2 months...what do I say to the lady if she asks me about my last job? And does this mean I'll get hired since she wants to schedule a interview?

Job Interviews - How to Ace a Telephone Job Interview

      Recommended Answer:
Dress professionally even if the job is just entry-level. If you're male, wear a nice button up shirt, slacks and a tie. If you're female, a woman's suit, skirt and blouse, slacks and nice top or dress would be appropriate.

If your last job only lasted 2 months, don't mention it unless the person interviewing you asks about it. If you are asked about it, just be honest with the reason (say, the position was temporary only lasting 2 months, there were cutbacks due to the economy and you were laid off, etc.). The only time you shouldn't be 100% honest is if you were fired. Then say something like, "the job was not a good match for me".

Just because you've been given an opportunity for an interview doesn't mean that you will automatically be hired. The interview is the chance for you to show that you are the right person for the job. Explain to the interviewer what makes you the best person to hire.

Question To Ask At A Job Interview-5 Of The Best Questions!

      • Many peeps get stuck when they are trying to settle what to wear at an interview. Personally I'm from the old school, I contend that formal wear is never incorrect; you can get some tips and tricks from the site in the box below, they also have a lot of advice on job seeking.

      • Its just walmart!
just act like you care about the costumers and are a very helpful person, and if you are
        then good for you =]
Dress casual i dont think you would have to dress up TO much.
If she asks you about your last job you dont HAVE to tell her how long you worked there.
        unless she asks i guess...
And no the interview doesnt mean youre gonna get hire it just means you MIGHT get hire.

      • Sorry, they probably won't hire you. I don't think you are dumb enough to be a Wal-mart employee.

Job Interview Questions: What is the best way to conceal a tattoo on fingers and hands for a job interview.?

I have an interview at walmart and I dont know thier tattoo policy and don't want to risk it. I am also a pretty dark black male.

How To Prepare For A Job Interview

      Recommended Answer:
I think it would be best to ask. What happens if you get the job, and they see the tattoos and have a policy against them? They would have the right to fire you on the spot, tattoos aren't covered in anti-discrimination laws. Best to ask first.

How to Prepare For a Job Interview - Preparing For a Good Job

      • Just how visible are they? If you are dark skinned and the tattoos are dark also, then the interviewer may not make note of them at first glance. I don't think the tattoo policy is particularly strict at Wal-Mart--I've noticed several employees with tats/piercings that other companies would not allow. Don't try too hard to conceal them and if the interviewer mentions anything about it, tell them you are willing to wear some kind of glove to conceal them.

      • Hey!

Depending on the quantity you have on your fingers, i would recommend band aids.

This might seem silly, but in hindsight, all this could be to somebody is a cut or graze. As i said, this would only work banking on the fact you have a small amount on your fingers.

        Hope i have helped!

        Jake

      • I have seen employees at the Wal-Mart in my town with neck and finger tattoos. I am sure you will be fine, but if you want to be sure you can go to the drugstore and get some cheap foundation/concealer that is similar to your skin tone.

      • Just do your very best to make a lot of eye contact and do not look at your hands. Keep your hands away from your face when you are talking and hope they don't notice them.

      • Use foundation/concealer that you'd normally wear on your face. :)

I had a job interview at Auntie Anne`s Pretzels today at 9 am and the interview went very well and I got along with the manager. At the end of the interview he asked me if this was my number and if it was correct. I said yes and he said he had more interviews until noon and will make a decision then and call me. It is nearly 6 pm and he hasn't phoned. Do you think I didn't get the job?

Job Interview Questions: Questions asked in a Fast Food Job Interview?

So I have my first job interview tomorrow and it's at a KFC/Taco Bell fast food restaurant. I would like to know:

-what kinds of questions are they bound to ask me? (specific and general ones)
        -what should I wear
        -Things I should/shouldn't do?

I appreciate any answer, thank you!

        Job Interview Mistakes To Avoid

        Recommended Answer:
I actually work at a KFC/TB myself. I showed up to the interview in my coat but took it off during the questioning and had a casual long sleeve shirt underneath. Dressing casual should be fine, just don't wear anything ripped or stained.

The interview lasted about 15 minutes. They will most likely start by saying "tell me about yourself". I also remember they asked why I wanted to work there and what kind of position I was interested in working.

Just be polite and straightforward and you should do fine

Job Interview Technique - 6 Tips To Get Yours Up To Scratch

        • I'm a manager at a restaurant and have conducted many interviews. It's hard to say what questions will be asked because each interviewer is different. They will ask, like someone else mentioned, tell me about your self. When answering that, mostly they are looking for what you're currently doing like going to school or what your past jobs were. Maybe some related hobbies or things you do that are related to the job. Mostly interview questions are set up to find out a specific trait such as reliability, team work, honestly, integrity, and so on..

As far as what to wear, it's always to a good idea to dress nicely to an interview. If someone is dressed too casual in shorts and a t shirt, this can show you might not be very serious about wanting the job. In a job interview, first impressions are everything.

Job Interview Questions: Job interview at American Eagle?

Hey, so I have a job interview Saturday at American Eagle and I was wondering which of these two outfits I should wear. My clothes aren't exactly the same as these but the closest I could find:
        www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=11460…

Outfit on the left: my gray shirt is a lot nicer than that one and I'd wear the cardigan open but button two buttons with a long necklace like that one shown. I think this outfit looks more manly though.

Outfit on the right: I have a navy tank with silver sequins similar to that one and a bow at my waist (empire waist tank) and it's actually from AE. I think this outfit though might be too casual and the long sleeve shirt underneath might be a bit weird since it is summer but it is more AE-like.

Shoes: I have ballet flats similar to those but I think they look weird with the khakis. I also have birkenstock clogs like the ones from AE in almost that same plaid from the boots. Which should I wear?

Also, I have long brown, curly/wave hair down a little longer than the halfway mark of my back. Should I straighten it, wear it up, half-up, half down with curls? What should I do with it?

Also, if you guys have any tips/have interviewed there before, what should I expect?

        Thanks a lot!

I think you should go with the gray shirt but if you have a black pants/skirt that i that would be better your long necklace and the black flats with the jacket if you don't like the jaket get a noher cuter one you fell comforable with or just don't wear the jaket.Good luck on your interview

If Job Interviews Scare the Snot Out of You

        • I like the left outfit better, and instead of wearing your flats go with the boots. Wear your hair curly! Wear your style of clothing, don't just wear something because it is 'AE-like'. Good luck! :D

        • Well since it's only American Eagle, you should dress casually but make it classy.

        • outfit on right with boots, curly hair!! be yourself because thats what they are excpecting!

        • I'd wear the Heather gray slacks from outfit two but pair it with the embroidered cap sleeve top (but not in gray, in a fun color like purple...do they have it in a purple or fuschia) and the black cardigan. I'd wear the ballet flats from the first outfit collage. That would be a fun but a very professional look.

Job Interview Process 101 for First Time Job Seekers

        Recommended Answer:
Clean shirt under a sports coat always looks good. No tie. Since you didn't specify the job I assumed it wasn't an executive level position- which would require a suit and tie. In an case dress in clean, pressed subdued colors and shine you shoes. Be cheerleader but not silly. Don't volunteer more than the question asks for. Express you interest in the job before you leave and, if possible don't discuss salary until the second interview.

Job Interview Questions: Am I allowed to bring awards to a job interview?

I have a Portfolio I that carry with me that has copies of cool stuff, like some of my previous work, awards like you have, letters of recommendations, news clipping about me, and stuff like that. I carry it in a little white 3 ring binder. I also have extra copies of my resume and letters of recommendation in the front pocket in case there are extra people who come into the interview, or additional interviews at the same time. You don't have to even open the Portfolio, but if the topic comes up in the interview, it is not inappropriate to open it up and show the reference. Nobody knows or cares if you are carry a 3 ring white binder to a interview.

The Proper Instruments For Passing the Job Interview

          • If the awards are not relevant, you don't have to use them. in any case, you probably mentioned them in your resume, and if not, you may mention them during the interview, without showing off diplomas.
            good luck with your interview!:)

          • Don't.

Mention the awards on your resume, if you want to, but don't bring them with you. I'm trying to say this the politest way possible: If you did such a thing, you'd be laughed at.
