i have a interview at bed bath and beyond i need some help wit some questing and answers like what is your weaknesses? and what are your strengths ? what are some good experience at your last job and why do u want to work here? Why are you interested in working for our company?

Job Interviews - Six Tips to Prepare You

    Recommended Answer:
Well, what are your strengths? Maybe something like being self motivated, hard working, ambitious, things like that are good.
For your weaknesses, again its very personal. It a good idea to have some ready for your interview because no one likes somebody who thinks that they're already the best and can't improve on anything. My personal weaknesses are that I have to make sure I get a good nights sleep or I am dead for the next day, so to combat this I make sure i go to bed early. Another one is that I can be quite shy when talking to people (which isn't good for a job you're going for, I think!) But make sure that you explain how you will make your weaknesses better.

Try researching their company and look for something you could say about them like 'I want to wok for your company because I have heard that you're very accommodating to staff and are a fair company, and I believe its the perfect environment for me to excel at my skills'

for your previous job experience, if you have any, make sure you high light any responsibilities you had, and your duties etc.

Its a very good idea to think about all this stuff before your interview because otherwise they might ask you and you'll be left with no answer (I know from personal experience, its always a problem to draw a blank!)

Lastly, like on a CV, the most important thing is to make the company believe that by hiring you, they are gaining in interesting hard working person. Make yourself stand out from any other applicants that they might have.

Job Interviews - Last Minute Strategies

    • Go to your bookstore and get a good book on Interviewing.
Such as "Interviewing for Dummies" - not for dummies - its a really good book.
It will have all your questions and how to answer them correctly.
It will be a book that you will use as a resource for the rest of your life.

Trying To Get A Job? Do Away With These Job Interview Booboos

    Recommended Answer:
Be honest. Research some things about the company/job as much as you can, slip some of them into your interview indicating you researched it they will be impressed.

people say if they ask for a weakness make it a good one however interviewers will have heard these good ones over and over, make it an honest weakness but tell them that you are working on that and or you would like to improve it in some way. dont make it a huge weakness. and that doesnt hugely affect your job

Taking these simple steps will soon have you the job.

Also act confident but not arrogant confident, dont say you really need A job, make out this is the only job you have took a huge interest in.

    GOOD LUCK! :)

Job Interviews - How to Quickly and Easily Succeed at Them

      Recommended Answer:
You should discuss a topic that you are very familiar with. Preferably something that you enjoy doing especially if it relates to the job you are currently applying for.
If you talk about something you enjoy doing of that you know very well, you will talk about it with more enthusiasm and your sincere emotions about the topic will be conveyed to those who are listening to you. Also, the use of props will help, as you can use these to demonstrate your point and off set nervousness by giving you something to hold on to and focus your attention on. Just make sure your props work and are relevant to the subject matter.

      • Pick a subject you already now alot about....YOU! It's one thing to put your achievements in writing, but you can emphasize and speak of examples more in a speech. Be sure to use props. You could even speak on a sport you do and why you succeed in it. Good Luck!

Job Interview Questions: What to expect at a T-Mobile job interview?

Hello. I have a job interview on Monday, February 8th at the Chula Vista corporate office of T-mobile with the Store Manager and he said possibly a second interview with the General Manager as well. I was just wondering what questions they ask and suggested answers to their questions? Thank You.

How to Answer Job Interview Questions - How to Impress Your Potential Employer

      Recommended Answer:
Well when I interviewed with them the store manager asked me the basic interview questions that most employers ask such as, whay are you a good candidate for the position, what kind of sales/customer service experience do you have? Why did you apply for this position? Tell me about a time when you had to sell such and such to a customer? What did you like/dislike about your last position things like that. They role played with me in way, they asked me to describe several times when I had a tough customer or when I was faced with a difficult task things like that. Then he asked me if I had any questions for him and FYI, employers love it when you ask them questions about their companies, and advancement opportunities within the company like promotions and things like that. So make sure to think of as many questions as you can once you get to that part because that is a way of showing the employer that you are really interested in learning about the company, not just making a paycheck (even if thats all you want you just don't tell them that lol)

Job Interview Questions: Male ear piercing allowed in job interview?

I have a job interview tomorrow at Wal-Mart because I am looking for a part time job. I'm a male student with a piercing on my left ear, just wanted to know if it's okay if I leave it on on the job interview and while working?

Identifying Job Interview Tips is an Important Thing That Every Job Seeker Has to Do

        Recommended Answer:
        Steven,

Hope to put this in a little bit of context for you - I'm male, have a pierced ear and wear an earring to work where I lead a team of twelve people out of whom two of the guys also wear earrings. If you came to be interviewed by me for a job wearing your earring it would put you at neither an advantage nor disadvantage - I just want to find the best person for the job. However, I'm not your interviewer and, although you and I both disagree with the sentiment of this next statement, there are people in the world who (almost subconsciously) just find a guy wearing an earring to be less smart than a guy without one. Your decision is - what do you want more? To get the part time job or to wear an earring no matter what. Personally, I think it's a no brainer and always take out my earring out for the hour when attending an interview.

It's a different matter when you've got the job. We've all been around Wal-Mart and other stores and seen guys wearing earrings.

So my answer is - take it out for the interview then, when you've got the job, wear it for work.

Hope this helps and good luck.

How to Succeed in a Job Interview

        • I would think if you just wear a stud and nothing too flashy or big you should be fine. Everyone lets girls wear earrings, why not guys too? Just stick with small and simple and you shouldn't have any problems. You can also ask at the interview what their policy on piercings is, but since it's Walmart, you should not come across a problem.

        • If its just a normal earring like this www.canadajewels.com/pages/earrin… (I know your earring isn't like that but in that location and around the same size) or one of those little hoop ring one (hopefully I make somewhat sense haha I dont have any piercings or plan on getting any) I think you'd be fine to wear in in the interview and if your not aloud to wear them they'd ask if you'd be willing to not wear it and you'd said yes I'd be willing to not wear at work or something like that and you'd be fine.

        • i wouldn't leave it in during the interview b/c it doesn't look professional but i would ask if they hire you if you can wear it during work, i see dudes at my local walmart wearing earrings... but you should ask, good luck

        • take it out just to be safe

Job Interview Questions: How do I impress for my second job interview, so that I can get the job?

I was offered a second job interview for a sales job at a local theme park (Knott's) and my first interview wasn't the best...i apparently appeared super nervous and as a result my answers to the interviewers questions were not a great representation of my work ethic. My interviewer said that I need to be more confident, make eye contact, etc. So what I'm asking is if you could give me tips and also some sample questions and answers of what the interviewer would like to hear. Thank You!
