Job Interview Questions: Job interview at Gilly Hicks, help please!?

I have an job interview at Gilly Hicks on Tuesday and I'm really confused on what to wear. I was thinking about wearing shorts and a pretty, girly t- shirt. Is this okay or should I think of something else? And I would also like to know if tiny nose piercings are acceptable. Thanks in advance!

Job Interview Questions: Appropriate hosiery for a job interview?

I have an interview at a law firm tomorrow for a receptionist position. I have a blazer, white button down, pencil skirt and black heels. What sort of hosiery should I wear? Nude hose, black opaque hose, sheer black hose? I'm not sure if it matters much or what would be most appropriate. I have no idea how anyone there dresses. Thanks!

Job Interview Tips That Will Land You Your Dream Job

Recommended Answer:
The outfit sounds perfect for the interview. Wear NUDE hose!

Good luck!

Job Interview Questions: How would you answer these tough job interview questions regarding your greatest weakness?

1. What part of your job do you dislike?
2. What suggestions did your supervisor have for improvement at your most recent job?
3. Describe a project you worked on that didn't turn out as well as you expected?
4. In what area of your work do you think you can be more effective?

Questions to Ask Your Interviewer in the Job Interview

Recommended Answer:
I would answer the questions honestly, but with some caution. Employers understand that there are things that aren't perfect, so it's better not to dodge the question or completely bullshit an answer.

For instance, in my job I hate dealing with some administrative issues. I have to fill out certain reports on a regular basis. At first at seemed burdensome, but then I realized that I could finish all of it by the end of the week if I just worked on them for the final 15 minutes of each day. By splitting it up, it didnt seem bad at all.

*see, in this answer I answered the question honestly, while also explaining a way that you dealt with a bad situation in a positive manner. that's what you should strive to do.

Job Interview Answers That Lead to Success

  • For more difficult questions you want to do a sort of "spin-off". For example, if they asked what your greatest weakness was it could be that you are a perfectionist or everything MUST be finished.

Trying To Get A Job? Do Away With These Job Interview Booboos

Recommended Answer:
Be honest. Research some things about the company/job as much as you can, slip some of them into your interview indicating you researched it they will be impressed.

people say if they ask for a weakness make it a good one however interviewers will have heard these good ones over and over, make it an honest weakness but tell them that you are working on that and or you would like to improve it in some way. dont make it a huge weakness. and that doesnt hugely affect your job

Taking these simple steps will soon have you the job.

Also act confident but not arrogant confident, dont say you really need A job, make out this is the only job you have took a huge interest in.

GOOD LUCK! :)

Job Interview Questions: Have you ever lied on an application about your race in order to get a job/interview/call back?

I look like a white guy, but my last name is Mexican so I can choose either on the application.
I've noticed I usually get waaaay more call backs, interviews and job offers if I put down Mexican/Hispanic. It's technically not lying for me, cause I am Mexican somewhere down my family tree. But have any of you lied to get the interview?

Job Interview Questions: My boyfriend has a job interview at finish line tomorrow.what should he wear?

He wants to make a good impression but its his first ever job interview so he doesnt know wether to wear a button up/slack/shoes,or a plaid shirt/jeans/sneakers. he owns lots of sneakers so he would like to show them he's good for the position without compromising the fact that he is professional.anyone work at a sneaker retail store??i'll ive lots of points to the best answer.

Some Questions Astute Interviewers May Ask During the Job Interview Process

    Recommended Answer:
Normally I would never suggest wearing sneakers to any job interview, but in his case, I would go with the button up/slacks/sneakers. It will
show finish line that he has sense to dress right, but with their product.

Job Hunting Skills: Actions to Take After a Job Interview!

    • Unless he would wear underwear to work at a lingerie shop, the nicer he dresses the more of an impression he will make. I would suggest a suit if he has one or business casual (with tie) if he doesn't. He is going for an interview, not for his first day on the job. Tell him to brush his teeth, comb his hair, smile and be confident. To help the confidence tell him to dress like he's going for an interview, not to run a 10K marathon.

Job Interview Questions: Job interview help. subway?

i have a job interview at subway and this will be my first time (!!!) . so i was just wondering if i need to take a resume and how to dress. also, what to expect and what kind of questions will be asked. im 17 and will be going to college in the fall, most likely out of town. will this affect me? plus i was planning on taking a two week trip in the summer. should i mention this in the interview. im very nervous!

How To Give Good Job Interview Answers

    Recommended Answer:
If you already filled in the app and have an interview set up no need to take a resume. Dress in nice pants and a sweater. Nothing revealing. Simple jewelry. Hair neat. Look like you are serious about getting the job. Interviews are fun. It's a chance to tell how dependable flexible outgoing helpful and smart you are. How often do people ask you that? You need to tell them up front that you plan to go away to college in the fall but hope to come back every summer and holidays and work there. And when he calls to offer you the job definitely tell them that your family has planned a two week "graduation vacation" and ask if that will be a problem .... Don't bring it up at the initial interview. They are used to hiring kids and having a fast staff turnover at Subway. Make sure it's someplace you want to work. You may want to check out golf courses. Local pools. Local parks. Lots of summer jobs that will get you outdoors and where your friends are.

Job Interview Questions - How to Prepare For and Answer the Ones They WILL Ask You! (Part One)

    • I would suggest you dress casual, neat and professional. If you have had previous employment history then a resume would be in order. Make sure you provide positive references. Answer any questions honestly and stress your work ethic, dependibility and initiative. In regards to taking time off during the summer, you have to mention it. I would suggest that you offer to work extra shifts before and after your vacation to lessen the impact on the schedule. Good luck and enjoy the job.

Job Interview Questions: Job interview suggestions for a first timer?

I have a job interview friday at 11 am. i'm excited and nervous!

Job Interviews - Will Practice Help?

      Recommended Answer:
Show up on time. Smile a lot. Don't dress up but dress very neat and clean, and with a big smile. Answer questions directly, looking right in the person's eyes, and smile. Did I mention how important it was to smile? 8^)

Think about what they're looking for--someone who is good with people, especially children. Someone who is cheerful and makes you feel good. Someone who doesn't mind working hard, when necessary (and if you think it's really easy work, scooping ice cream for families on hot Summer days, you might be surprised!) And of course someone very honest.

Normally when you go for a job interview you want to try to talk about your background, your qualifications, your achievements, etc. But in a job like this you don't have any of that. All you have is yourself, what kind of person you are. By all means be yourself! Don't try to delude them. But try to show up the qualities that you think will make you good in this job--patience, willingness to work, honesty, cheerfulness.

And try to relax. Walk in there thinking they like you and you already have the job, they just want to ask you a few questions before you begin.

      Good luck!

      Recommended Answer:
I wouldn't dress like you are trying to fit in with Quicksilver Brand...dress professionally. Bring a few copies of your resume and references.

my best advice is be yourself and be professional. just because it is a skate and surf brand does not give any excuse to act more laid back. they are a huge business.
