Recommended Answer:
Tell us a little bit about yourself

What are your strengths?
--Give strengths that match well with the position for which you are applying.

What are your weaknesses?
--Give another strength disguised as a weakness. I sometimes focus so much on the task that I don't get enough sleep, or work too many hours.

How soon can you report to work if selected for the job?
--Tell them when you are available to start.

How much money are you willling to work for?
--Find out what the going rate is for that type of job. Ask for the lower end if you are inexperienced, or the higher end if experienced.

Are there any questions that you would like to ask us?
Use this to show your knowledge of the company by asking a question that relates to something the business does, or a client they have, or something like that. Or ask about some other aspect that only someone familiar with the work would know to ask.

Job Interview Questions: Anything I should know before a job interview at a pretty nice restaurant?

So, I have a job interview at a fairly upscale restaurant, most likely as a waitress. I've only had one professional job interview before and it was for a very different job (working with kids), so I want to know beforehand - what kinds of questions will I be asked and should I be ready to answer? I just want to come off as confident, because I tend to get a little nervous when it comes to formal things like this.

Top 6 Tips For Giving a Great Job Interview and Getting a Job

      Recommended Answer:
Dress professionally and be yourself. Never chew gum.

They might ask you what your strengths and weaknesses are and whether or not you have had any experience doing restaurant work before. They will probably also ask whether or not you are still employed, why you're quitting, and what days/hours you will be available to work. (I don't foresee them asking too much beyond that, but it's been a while since my restaurant days..)

      Best of luck.

Important Job Interview Tips to Land That Job!

          • When it comes to an interview it is good to look smart, clean and tidy. Make sure the clothes you wear are ironed and clean. Make sure they have no lose threads or rips either! I think as you are a teen a nice pair of smart, black trousers with a slightly casual but smart shirt/top. As you are still young you don't want to wear a blazer cause you still want to look your age. Don't wear too much make-up either. Keeping it natural is good and having your hair of your face is good also. I hope this helps. This is what i would do anyway. GOOD LUCK!
