I need help with my resume too like what to put on there .
i also need some interview tips . maybe what to avoid saying and what to do during the intervuiew

8 Worst Job Interview Screw - Ups to Avoid

Recommended Answer:
I agree with Judy and Alix...SHOW UP TEN MINUTES EARLY TOO. Just be yourself, dress neatly, shake hands when you arrive and thank them for taking the time to interview you. Managers are busy too. The first 15-45 seconds will tell all. Never say anything bad about a former employer or staff. If you didn't like the job you can state that it just wasn't a position I saw myself excelling at.
Don't ramble. Think about the question(s) before you answer them (you only get one shot at it)...he/she wants to know what you can bring to Pizza hut to make it successful. They do not want to hear what you did last summer.
Stick to the position you are applying for. When they ask you if you have any questions...ask what you really want to know...like..."How soon do you perceive it will be, before you make a hiring decision?" (Some people here would disagree with me to ask that, but it is only fair to ask)
Don't forget to shake their hand again and thank them for taking the time and that you are looking forward to hearing from them again soon.
Good luck.

Tips For a Successful Job Interview and Land on Your Ideal Job

  • First off...interviewing with pizza hut is just a job...no worries it is nothing to stress about. As for a resume..you probably won't need one unless you are applying for a high up position. Interviewing can be a little nerve recking at times but have no fear if you go in positive and excited for what you are applying for then you should have no problem. Tips...try not to say words like like or um too much or at all. Talk about what makes this position perfect for you, they say within the first 15-30 seconds of an interview the person knows already if they will hire you or not so right when you go in shake hands, smile, and introduce yourself confidently!
    Best of luck!

  • Wear a red shirt or anything red.
Dress like you are going to church - very neatly.
    Google yahoo finance
Type in YUM - its the company that owns Pizza Hut.
They also own KFC, and Taco Bell.
Read a bit of news on the left.
Don't say anything negative - he may own some of the stock.

One educated sentence about the company could make an impression that the manager will not forget. You want to seem smart.
Also mention that you are dependable and have good transportation.
Mention that there is nothing more important than showing up for work on time.

You'd be surprised how many managers are fed up with people that don't show up, don't call, or don't show up on time.

  • I'm 16 and never had a job, but take my advice on this. I know someone who works at McDonalds and he spends most of his money on crack, marijuana, shrooms, etc, and he does horrible in school. If he can get hired for a job, (he is ridiculously unintelligent) then you are almost guaranteed. I would just act professional and not get nervous.

Job Interview Questions: What do I wear to a job interview at a bar/lounge to be a cocktail waitress?

It's an upscale lounge/nightclub and Im interviewing to be a cocktail waitress. Im 21 so I dont want to dress too stuffy or anything. any suggestions?

Job Interview Training For Managers - Will's Story

Recommended Answer:
Dress as though you want the manager's job. I agree you should go for darker colors. Wear a suit or if wearing a skirt or dress also wear a jacket. No sweaters, no cleavage, no bold jewelry. Wear lower heels; no spikes and don't forget to wear hose even if just for this interview. Wear your hair in a conservative fashion; no ponytails, no excess curls. Sophistication is the key here. If you have tats, make sure they're covered. Only one ring per hand and a simple watch and bag should complete the outfit. It isn't about the job for which you're interviewing, it's about your overall presentation.

From the Eyes of a Job Interviewer

  • 21, 16 or 42, you always want to dress professional for an interview. I even dress professionally when I pick up an application to let them know I mean business.

A button down shirt with dress pants or anything you would consider business attire (not a pants suit or anything like that) just nice. And not to revealing.

I'm 24 and have been serving and bartending for 9 years, my boyfriend is a restaurant manager and people don't think so, but the way you dress for an interview is more important than you interveiw itself.

  • Dress professionally. Black or brown dress pants, white dress shirt, black dress shoes and tie your hair up in a pony tail. All jobs that require you to work with food will tell you to tie your hair up when you work so its better to do it before and show them that you suit the job physically and then in your interview that you suit the job personally!

  • The key is to look pulled together. Always dress professionally, whatever the job is. This website has loads of options for good work and interview outfits: www.wearittowork.co.uk
    Good luck!

Job Interview Questions: Job Interview at a Mentally ill day care?

I want to know what are some things i can say to get the job. They will ask how would i feel if the people threw crap or hit me...
What should i say about those scenarios?

Learn to Answer Job Interview Questions and Get Your Dream Job!

Recommended Answer:
Ideally, they're going to want someone who 1) really understands how mentally draining and taxing this kind of job can be, 2) knows that they can still deal with it and 3) has a positive view of the work.

So, rather than saying something like "It's no big deal if they hit me", say something like "I know that will probably happen sometimes, but I it's important that these people still have someone to help them, and I'm committed to that."

If you downplay how much it hurts/offends when things like that happen, they will think that you don't really understand the job and assume that you will not last. It's also good to know how you will calm yourself down if you get angry or upset, because you can say "If ________ hit me, I might feel hurt or offended, but I always remember to count to ten before reacting, and that helps me to be more effective in dealing with a situation"

Also, make sure they know that you understand that things that might be easy for you are difficult for the people you are watching, so you don't mind if you have to repeat something several times before they do what you said, etc.

Hope that helps!

Job Interview Skills - What You Must Have to Land the Job

    Recommended Answer:
Go through the job ad again and think of yourself in the role - what sort of things would you like to know? If you don't know, try and look it up online so that you don't ask questions that you could have search for on your own. If you can't and the question is an "appropriate one" to ask in an interview, then do ask it. There may be questions that arise from the interview itself. If you have no questions, then say you have none for the moment - why risk it for the sake of having a question to ask?

    Good luck!

Unfortunately, I would keep applying. Even if an interview seems perfect, employers can say whatever they want...remember, they don't want to hurt your feelings. Always keep applying for jobs, no matter how perfect it seems, and ALWAYS send a thank you email after the interview. I hope that helps, and feel free to email me with any other questions about it.

No Time To Prepare For The Job Interview?

    Self-Speaking Lies About Job Interviews

    • Then, I guess it is time for you to go to work:) It is normal to be nervous, but here are some things you can do to relax. Take a deep breath and relax....do this several times. Also, you can try to keep occupied this week and not focus so much on it. You could also do some mock interviews. If you need to practice with what you want to say and do on the job interview this would help. If you have a friend or someone who could "practice" interview you, then that would be great. Have them ask you random questions and be prepared to answer. This will also help prepare you for the real interview. If you should be able to go to a gym or just even do some walking that will help the stress. And..give you some time to think. If you need a good laugh--here is what I said on my interview at Wendy's--my first real paying job. =)) Question: Why do you want to work at Wendy's? Me: Well, I love their customer service and I love the Big Macs! lol

    • deep breathes, think happy thoughts.

    • take a few deep breathes and know that everythings gonna be ok

    • have a few drinks before you go

    • be yourself!!!
      use good dialect :)
and do not lie about anything!!
take a few breaths you will do great!!

Job Interview Questions: What should I say during a job interview?

I have a job interview with starbucks this afternoon, I have worked for them before:

If they ask what did I like: should I say: I liked making seasonal drinks- like summer fun so it can get my creative juices flowing..

My favorite drink was the Caramel Machiatto b/c it was the most colorful. or does that sound stupid?

What could I say if they ask: what do you think you could contribute to our company?

    Behavioral and Situational Job Interviews

    Recommended Answer:
Let them know you could convey enthusiasm about their drinks, which will come across to the customer. Let them know you are great working with the public and that the job means a lot to you. Let them know you are reliable, on time, accurate with orders and that you have a smile on your face while you are working because you enjoy making seasonal summer drinks because you find it fun and that it gets your creative juices flowing, as you say. Tell them you work well with the other employees and that being a good employee is important to you because you value working for Starbucks. Find out what Starbuck's mission statement is, do a little research, and quote that on the interview.

    Common Job Interview Mistakes

    • Tell them you loved working with customers and were able to make what they requested. Focus on the customer, thats big for any interview. Also, focus on your strengths, what you are good at.

    • the colorful comment is something you should say because it shows your personality and what kind of person you are. but talk a lot about what you do for fun and show how you are unique rather as other people who are possibly having an interview. make sure you stand out. :)

for the last question just say how you can do whatever is thrown at you and that you never quit at whatever you do. something in that kind of wayy. you know?

      good luckk.
