Job Interview Questions: When to call and what to say in follow up phone call after job interview?

I went to a job interview last Friday (exactly one week ago). It went well in my opinion. He asked me some questions which I answered well, gave me a tour of the place and seemed to be pleased with my experiences. He said they were "going to be interviewing all week" then doing a second round of interviews. I sent a thank you email the next day. Is it too early to call back for a follow up phone call? And what should I even say?!?

Interviews are always the first place to make a good impression. You should call back after the weekend. Then simply ask have they made a decision on the people they wish to interview again. If its not you you should bold ask was there anything that didn't impress them not to invite you back again. That way you will exactly what they where looking for and what to improve on for your next interview.
