Job Interview Mistakes!
Recommended Answer:
To make the best impression for job interviews, choose a matching skirt (knee length or slightly below) and jacket with a plain white blouse. A pant suit would be second choice. The suits color should be solid and medium to dark in color. Shoes should be conservative with less than a two inch heel. Jewelry should be extremely minimal and neither distracting nor overly expensive looking.
Job Interview Mistakes To Avoid
- If you are looking for a certain style of dress I would go with a wrap dress. It is expandable to any body type/size in a neutral color (I would stick with navy, cream, gray, and of course black). I agree with the other user about minimal jewelry, pick key pieces (i.e. a nice pair of earrings, or ring but stay clear of bangles or anything else distracting).
As far as formal dresses go, I would steel clear of anything extremely designer, while it does make a good outfit, I would not want to dress better than the boss/or interviewer (save that until after you get hired!!! :D )
