Job Interview Questions: How to prepeare and act for a job interview?

Im gonna get interviewed at amc theaters and i wana know what i shuld be prepared to say and how to act

Job Interview Basics

Recommended Answer:
Wear nice looking clothes, don't need a suit or anything but a nice pair of jeans and a button down would be fine. They should be clean of course! They will probably ask you a few questions about your work history and why you want to work for them. Try to think of some answers for these questions beforehand. When you are answering questions, try not to say 'umm' 'ahhh' or 'like'. If you need to think about a questions, just pause for a minute and think without making noise to fill the silence.

What To Wear On A Job Interview

  • Be on time for the interview. Shake hands with the interviewer as soon as you meet them. Look them in the eye and call them by name, preferable Mr./Mrs. whatever. I agree with yourbill on the clothing. Make sure you clothes are clean and not wrinkled. Be prepared talk about the jobs that you've had. If you haven't had any other jobs, talk about your experiences volunteering, doing work for friends and neighbors, etc. Show them that you are reliable, will show up on time and when you are scheduled. Find out as much as you can about the job in advance. Read up on customer service and express your belief in how important customer service is. Act mature, professional, polite and enthusiastic about what you can do for them. Obtain a business card from the interviewer. Be sure and thank them for their time and tell them that you look forward to hearing from them soon. One the way home from the interview, pick up a Thank You card from the drug store. As soon as you get home, hand write a Thank You note addressed to the interviewer and mail it immediately. If you don't hear anything from them in about one week, call and speak to the manager and let them know that you are still interested in the job.

They may ask if you have any questions. Avoid asking how much they will pay. You will find that out when they call you with an offer.

This is a lot of information. Hope it helps you!

Job Interview Questions: What do they ask in a Victoria's Secret job interview?

i have in interview with them on thursday at 10:15pm

i just want to be fully prepared so can anyone help??
thank you!

Tough Job Interview Questions And Great Answers!

Recommended Answer:
I used to work at Victoria's Secret some years ago. I was hired as a "seasonal"employee because of the Christmas holiday. After the Christmas holiday, they did ask me to stay as a permanent employee. I do vaguely remember a "group interview" that I went through. I remember we just went through scenarios to see how we would handle situations.
I do remember them asking me if I had any prior sales experience. So, if you have worked in sales before, that is a plus. They really just asked me basic questions like can I be flexible with my hours (work whenever they need me too), am I outgoing and friendly, etc....
VS was probably one of the best jobs I ever had. I enjoyed it but the pay is horrible! I basically worked for free because my whole paycheck went right back to them. You get a discount and you can't help but want to buy their products. In the long run, it didn't pay off for me. I just like having first dibs on all the new things that came out. Oh, and when a new product comes out, you will get a free one because they want you to be able to tell customers first-hand about the product. (one of the perks).
Good Luck to You! I know you will get the job!

It provides consistency in your branding. Make it a subtle such as a slightly rose-colored tinted paper, or off-white or your initials tastefully printed in the corner or on the bottom of the page. Make sure not to get ridiculously fancy or gaudy. Keep it tasteful and subtle.

      Job Interview Tips That Deliver

      Recommended Answer:
Suit. Employers know what is considered the general rule of thumb for a job interview. (most of them at least) You want to wear a black 3 button business suit, with a white or blue shirt and a solid plain tie of a neutral color. They will always look at your appearance and if you follow the general dress code for an interview, they will consider you as someone who knows what you are doing.

Tips For Facing a Job Interview

      • shirt and tie with no blazer.....its only a summer job.

Edit: it doesnt matter, you should wear the blazzer, but you dont want to look very sweaty during the interview.

      • yes as long as it is appropriate. you know not too short in the hem, not too long in the neck line, not too frumpy either, and not too bright or frilly, not sparkly or shiny either. Stick with basic, somewhat neutral, and simple lines. You do want to be taken seriously. Good luck, hope you get the job.

      • Absolutely! Just make sure no cleavage is showing and it comes to the knees. Try and stick to monochromatic colours, save the floral patterns for the beach.

        Good luck with your interview!

      • It depends on the dress. The dress should not be too busy, it shouldn't be too short, or too revealing. If at all possible, see if you can pare it with a simple blazer.

      • Yes it could but depending on the dress ? short sleeves ? NO..
A jacket would finish the dress and some nice shoes to match..YES..

      • If it is not more than an inch or two above the knee, tasteful and business-like.

      • Yes, absolutely! A dress would be just fine as long as it isn't too low-cut and isn't too short. Good luck!
