Job Interview Questions: What should I wear for my job interview?

I have a job interview tomorrow in a retail store selling electronics (laptops, video cameras,t.v.s,etc.) and hi-tec stuff. What do you think is appropriatte to wear on the interview? My style is usually business-casual, black pants, really chic heels, a trendy top and jewelry. Or should I be more conservative?

Business casual is fine. Be your self!! You are in a retail store dealing with the public, so wear comfortable clothes. You want want your personality and selling skills to shine, not your clothes!!

  • my recomendation
*gray pants suit, with stripes going down. the top of the suit should have one of those bows on the back
*a lime green (but not TOO bright) short sleeve dress shirt with a bow in the middle
    *Light pink heels
    *light pink braclets and necklaces
this will show that you don't mind diffenency, which seems like you need in your line of work. also that you are pretty enough to atract costumers. lol, good luck and I hope I helped:-)

  • You say you wear black pants , how about trying a skirt instead with a trendy top to match it? You could still add your chic shoes and trendy jewelry. Here's a link to get an idea of what I think would be a good twist to your usual outfit.

    Good Luck on your interview!
