Job Interview Questions: When Do I Call Back To Hear The Decision Regarding A Job Interview?

Last week tuesday (Jan. 26) I had a job interview at Ross, a clothing store. It was pretty breif. I was asked about previous job experience (which I have plenty of) and then the manager described what my work duties would be. He then told me that they were still conducting interviews throughout the week and that I'd get a call back when they were done.

I haven't heard anything and I was wondering if I should call back. It's a cashiering position.

• If they took the whole week last week to conduct interviews, it meant they are not in urgent need for a cashier, so they might be calling this week or next week. But it is perfectly alright to call them today to ask whether they have made their decisions.
