Preparing to Answer Job Interview Questions
- Just tell the interviewer honestly that you are truly interested in this job and you promise you will perform up to their expectation. But when you are asked about the expected salary, as long as you don't 'overprice' yourself, I don't think they will treat you as 'overqualified'. I think most of the time, the employer will rate us as 'overqualified' when the salary we ask for is too high, and they think they can't afford to pay such a high salary. But if the salary you are asking for is a reasonably acceptable figure, I think the employer will be most happy to hire an 'overqualified' person like you, as they expect an 'overqualified' person should be able to perform better than the 'qualified' and 'unqualifed' groups of people.
