That will be fine, no need to wear a tie unless it's a job where a tie may be worn, like a biglaw firm. Most attorneys don't wear ties now, especially at small firms. But if you were interviewing at a biglaw firm, even for a mailroom job, you might want to wear a tie if you have one and you're comfy in it.
Unless you are a girl (homecoming slacks? maybe) and for some reason the business doesn't like when women wear slacks, and prefer skirts. Can you believe that still exists? But it does, so girls should always check to see what employees at the business wear to make sure.
You generally want to dress a step up from what you'd actually be wearing at the job. Seems silly, but that seems to be how it is at many places.
