Job Interview Questions: How to not be nervous for a job interview?

I am SO nervous and its not even the day of yet... i always mess up job interviews cause I'm too nervous to think....I'm perscribed xanax for nervousness and anxiety...do you think I should take one or two before the interview? Besides that though is there a way to NOT be nervous for this or a way to pretend I'm not nervous? Thanks!

As to your xanax, take it as prescribed buy our physician. For a job interview do a dry run first to see how long it takes you and were you got to go. As to being nervous.......for a job interview....welcome to the human race....we all get nervous at a job interview. Rehearse in your mind what kind of questions they will ask you. Your skills that you have for the job, try to study and get information on your employer, what do they do, who are their customers. What makes your future employer special. HR always asks a hypothetical what would you do question. Usually with a disgruntled customer or a fellow employ that is angry to see if you have people and problem solving capability. Also a question on if this happened at work how will you handel it scenario. Why do you want to work for XYZ company or Business. Try deep controlled breaths and meditation before you go into your interview. A good nights rest is obvious........but yes it is normal to feel nervous for a job interview, and look at it this way....you can take pride in that you made it this far, that they see something in you they want......All the best and God bless you as you search for work.

I Have a Job Interview - What Should I Do?


  • Write answers for questions you think the owner will ask on que cards and put them on your lap during the interview and use the answers that you thought of when you where not so nervous.
