Job Interview Questions: I need basic information about a regular job interview.?

Okay.. I was in a few job interviews but they were no success because I have some different understand the questions than the people who gave me the interview's ideas.
(1) Tell me about your background
(2) What kind of education do you have
(3) Tell me in brief describe about yourself

I think they were the mistakes that I made during my interviews. Can someone explain what do they really mean during an interview, please?

Recommended Answer:
(1) your background is either a personal background, or a professional one; most likely they want to know about the professional aka work bkgrnd, like where you have worked, what you did or didn't like working there, etc
(2) education is did you graduate high school, go to college, have a degree, etc
(3) about yourself - what you like to do when not working, hobbies, that type of thing

Interviews are difficult to know if you "passed" them or not, because no one knows just what the interviewer is thinking
