I currently have hair like this:

I have heard that it is best to pull one's hair up in a ponytail for job interviews; is this true? If so, should I pin my bangs back as well?

just wear your hair the way you normally wear it most days. Unless it's some sort of elaborate party girl hairstyle, it won't the detract from you on an interview.
