Matthew. - I don't think that should be question in an interview.It is our right to smoke or not.Will that hurt our chance of getting the job? Would they hire us on our skills or will they turn us away due to our smoking. So I say no,its not appropriate at all.They can say if you are a smoker there are designated areas to smoke.
- No, because it isn't really the employers business and what does it matter? Not everyone who smokes are inconsiderate about where and when they do it.
