I had on sweatpants for an interview with JC penny. What are my chances of getting a job after that wardrobe mistake?

  • Keep on mind that this people does not know you, even though you could be very capable and qualified for the position, you want to let them know that you can be the best match to represent them in all the possible aspects you can, and unfortunatelly the first impression does count, sweatpants may be very comfortable but won't provide you a professional look you will need for most jobs. :)

  • You need to dress professionally regardless of the job you are applying for. If you don't care how you look in an interview, an interviewer will think that you're not serious about wanting the job.

  • Probably very slim unless the rest of you was very together and you nailed the interview.

  • I would say you have no chance of getting the job. A pair of khaki pants and a nice shirt would have been appropriate.
