Job Interview Questions: I have a job interview tomorrow and I'm worried?

I have a job interview tmrw at Marshalls, if I do end up getting the position-Im worried about the hours that i'll be working, cause I'm registering for a few classes at community college. I'm only taking 2-3 classes without being a FULL TIME student there, because I want to take a year off from college for personal reasons.

During the interview tomorrow, should I tell them about my situation or what? What is the most easy, professional way to tell them?

Which of These Job Interview Problems Would You Like to End?

  • Why would you take a year off from college? That will really hinder your educational progression. As for the interview, they don't want to deal with people with a lot of baggage. You're supposed to sell yourself. Mention that you're taking some college classes but not that you might have problems coping with the workload. If you think you can't manage a job while taking classes, then don't get one. But, really, it's only 2-3 classes. Just try and learn how to better manage your time.

  • At the job interview, they would either tell you what kind of hours you are working, or you can always ask. If you ask, or address your concern, you can explain to them your situation.
