Job Interview Questions: How formally should I dress for a job interview at a group home?

I am a recent college grad and I have been on quite a few job interviews for office positions. But now I am interviewing for a job at a group home. Should I wear a suit or is business casual okay? Like a conservative-length dress?

Heather,

This is a great question. What you have to understand is that a person will judge you beyond your physical looks, but by how you present yourself by dress, demeanor, and speech.

It's always to be overdressed then under and due to your age (since you graduated from college) you should be present yourself as professional as possible.

A suit will be great but make sure that it's something you can see yourself in the mirror and think "wow, that'll impress them." I conservative dress (length) will be fine.

Most importantly go in there with confidence. For you already preparing your outfit I know you have a level mind on knowing what is right. Now try to research and Q&A any possible questions that they may throw at you.

I hope this helps. Good Luck.

  • I would dress business casual. I would wear Khakis and a nice shirt to a group home.
