Be outgoing, enthusiastic and happy. Clothes shops really rely on selling so basically their questions will have a lot to do with "Sell us on why you are best for this position". Point out your good attributes, point out experience, if this is your first job talk about bake sales or volunteering you did even if it's not the same MAKE it the same like....babysitting...no it's not the same but you learnt about persuasion...you had to persuade the kids to eat, persuade them to go to bed and this really helped your selling skills because you had to sell them on the idea of going to bed and they'll ask how you did it. Get what I mean? Any experience even if it's not the same there are similar things but try to stay away from saying you bribed the kids because that's not the same lol.

OH OH OH ok...here's some tips on sales...there's two things you should know...

Suggestive selling: When a customer is buying a blue cardigan, suggest that they take a look at the frilly tank tops that really accent the cardi.

Up-selling: When a customer is at the check out stand and you're having a promotion 2 for 1 and you are going from 1 item sold up to 2.

These are things you'll need to know and you'll look knowledgeable about the industry a bit. Your interview will probably be about 30 minutes or less.
