Umm, you're asking them to give you a job. It's not about what's convenient for YOU, it's about what's convenient for THEM. As an employer, if you called and asked me to reschedule an interview with this story, I would tell you to not even bother coming in. Your application would already be in the trash.

How to Prepare for a Successful Job Interview

  • look you should try to avoid rescheduling for a job interview as much as possible it doesn't look good, but in your case lets say you reschedule and get the job if its not convenient for you now will it be every day especially if its a 9-5 and with traffic? think of gas prices, time, and car maintenance. If its a part time then sure why not. it its full time and the pay is good then go for it. ...

  • Call to cancel if you are not going to show up for the interview. You should not expect the interviewer to reschedule the interview for a time that is convenient for you. Cancelling the interview means someone else has a better chance of getting hired than you do.

  • Its possible but it does NOT look good for you. If it is too much of an inconvenience for you to make the interview, then your dependability just went down the toilet in their eyes.

  • You can, but it might cost you your chance at the job.
