Job Interview Questions: Is it ok for a guy to wear Cowboy boots to a job interview?

This is for factory/warehouse type work, so Blue collar work. Mine just nice well polished tan boots, not snake skins or anything. Like with a polo shirt and a pair of Khakis?

  • I would hope you don't have to ask this!

However I suppose it's a reasonable question given today's social and fashion climate.

But I cannot imagine how a plain pair of cowboy boots would be inappropriate for a blue collar work environment.

As someone mentioned before they are pretty much loafers/wingtips with the leg covered.

  • Maybe if you're applying to be a Cowboy? Lol..

But seriously, it's fine, if you pull your pant leg over the entire boot, they are more or less wingtips at that point...

  • Yes, clean and neat. No cow/horse poop stuck in the soles/seams. If you wear a hat remove it upon entering the office.

  • No you shoul wear a formal suit.

  • i think its fine.
