Job Interview Questions: What if you went for a job interview and offered the interviewer half of your salary.?

As in, upon hiring you, you agreed to split your salary with them.

Interview Questions And Answers - Worst And Good Job Interview Answers

Recommended Answer:
An interviewer at any reputable business or certainly at any government agency would be ethically bound, and restricted by policy not to accept any compensation in exchange for giving you a job. They would be fired if they work for a company and if it was a government position you are seeking then they would go to jail for taking the money as it is a bribe!

Not only will they almost certainly not risk what you are proposing, but by making the offer you are ensuring that they won't offer you the position, in fact I can almost guarantee you they won't even let you finish the interview, they will throw you out then and there and tear up your application.

The way to get ahead in life is to work hard, not pay people off....... Unless of course you are a politician or a lawyer! Work hard and you will eventually be able to accomplish what you put your mind to. Be patient, work hard, keep your eye on the goal and you can do it.

Job Interview Techniques - How to Crack the Interview Code

  • No, if I were an interviewer, I would never say so; because the person is paid what he does and I am paid what I do, so the concept of sharing the salary seems quite awkward and is against the true professionalism.

  • Well, if you have a job currently that pays more and money is an issue, then I would say stay with your current job. But, if you are unemployed, then I would take the job since jobs are hard to come by.

  • i would be really desperate for a job and or really want that job enough to do that.

  • It is illegal and they would think it was a trap and you would not get the job

Job Interview Questions: Do you have any advice for my first job interview (at a credit union)?

I just graduated from college and don't have a ton of job experience. I've been trying desperately to get a job for the last few months and have finally made it through to my first live interview. Does anyone have any tips or advice for this? I'm really nervous because of all the jobs I've applied for this is probably the one I want the MOST (best pay, benefits, career field of choice, etc.). I really don't want to blow it!

Stress And That New Job Interview

Recommended Answer:
first, know a little bit about the company. go online and find out what they do. a candidate who knows nothing about the company likely isn't going to get hired. preparation and having good questions to ask is key. it shows you've done your homework.

second, dress professionally. a nice top and a dressy pair of slacks or skirt is good. don't wear jeans, not to an interview.

third, a lot of companies are looking for long-term employees, not job hoppers. when they ask you about your future plans or what you see yourself doing some number of years down the road, they want to hear you want to stay and grow with that company. say it and mean it.

also, be sure to make good eye contact and speak clearly. answer questions with detail. no one word answers, but don't go on and on either. when appropriate, ask them questions before they ask you if you have any questions. in other words, be sure and confident in yourself. even if you are really nervous and feel like you are going to pee your pants, appear confident and like you mean business. and on that note, make sure you go to the bathroom before you arrive at the place of your interview. again, all in being prepared.

Job Interview Questions: Appropriate Attire for a Job Interview?

I have a job interview for a business administrative position. Since it's been really hot outside lately, I was wondering if wearing a short sleeve pant suit would be appropriate attire for this particular type of interview. Thank you!

Recommended Answer:
I work with H/R. and weather like this we dont expect someone to walk in wearing a full out suit cause we'll know your just trying to impress us. its appropriate to wear a button up t-shirt (make sure MAKEE SURE you wear anti-percipient deodorant so we dont see your arm pit sweat lines lool. and black suit pants. make sure your shirt is buttoned up with top button opened. dont choke yourself wearing all the buttons and dont show cleavage. good luck with the interview. dont be nervous, stay calm go in their EYE OF THE TIGER!!!

The Job Interview Technique That Will Blow Away the Competition

  • For a really hot day, you can get away with suit pants and a button-up blouse. Just don't wear a lot of jewelry. And necklace nametags should not be worn. A lot of people think it's a ghetto thing, so best not to wear any necklaces at all. Good luck! And don't forget to turn your cell phone off! If you get a call during the interview, you can blame whoever called you for a lost opportunity.

  • should be fine as long as it looks formal.↲ ashish

Job Interview Questions: What is the best advice for a job interview?

I have an upcoming interview for a local retail store and I was wondering what advice you guys had that could help me out a little. I'm a 20 year old college student just trying to get this part-time job. Thanks!

Preparing For a Job Interview - Minimize Job Interview Stress

Recommended Answer:
Dress for success. Do not wear sexy. Wear well groomed and clean. Matching shoes and purse. (if you are female) Look at what those working there are wearing. Dress somewhat accordingly but if they are wearing jeans, that is a bit too casual for an interview. Wear a nice pair of slacks. Female Stay away form flashy jewelry and dangling earrings. Minimal is best on jewelry. Make sure your footwear is up to date, not scuffed or over worn. Be sure your purse is clean inside and neat.
Male or female, what ever you do if you have tatoos cover them and do not wear piercings in your lips, nose or brow or more than one in your earlobes. Make sure your breath is fresh, but don't chew gum.Your nails should be clean and cut at a reasonable length. A female whould wear a very light non-emphasized polish. Don't wear more than one ring per hand! Easy does it on makeup, but wear some.
Explain that while you don't have an experienced work background, you are especially skilled in working with people, (and with fashion if its a clothing store) and as a college student your grades show that you are a quick study and intelligent as well as punctual and reliable.
Emphaize you enjoy the public, take orders well and follow directives as well as like being a team player. If you have other skills that are applicable to the job for which you are applying, emphasize those. Example: Being familiar with a cash register, credit card machine, sales and paper work.
Having played on a sports team (showing the team mentality). Show a sense of humor without sounding like you do nothing but joke or have a nervous laugh and chatter. One light area of wit will do during an interview. Be honest and flexible concerning work schedules. If they want you to work during a class that you can't alter, you need to say so, but if they want you to work on Friday night and it interferes with your social life, its better to alter the social life. Shake hands at the introduction and in closure and thank the person for the interview. Follow up with a quick thank you note to your interviewer for taking time in her/his busy schedule for you and state you look forward to further communication. This is a way of keeping you first and foremost in their memory and showing them that you are a proper and appreciative person.

Have in mind what are your weak points and strong points because usually you will be asked. Try to make those as average as possible. If your weak point is uncontrolled children screaming in the store then let your strong point be an ability to distract children from misbehavior. But be prepared to state how you do that. Never get away from basic honesty. That way you don't get caught unprepared. The best to you....I wish you success

When you are asked to take a drug test for a job interview is someone there to look at your private parts to make sure its your sample or are they just behind you?

Some Questions Astute Interviewers May Ask During the Job Interview Process

NOOOO....they have NOOOO right to look at your private parts!!!

They give you a small plastic cup and lead you to a bathroom. No belongings are allowed to go into the bathroom with you just to make sure you don't cheat on your drug test. The nurse will tell you not to flush the toilet and that you have three minutes to pee and come out. Yes, they time you.

That's all there is to it.

P.S. Drink a lot of water about 30 minutes before you go in for the test so you are ready to perform

Job Interview Process 101 for First Time Job Seekers

Recommended Answer:
Clean shirt under a sports coat always looks good. No tie. Since you didn't specify the job I assumed it wasn't an executive level position- which would require a suit and tie. In an case dress in clean, pressed subdued colors and shine you shoes. Be cheerleader but not silly. Don't volunteer more than the question asks for. Express you interest in the job before you leave and, if possible don't discuss salary until the second interview.

    Recommended Answer:
Generally speaking it's best to err on the side of conservative, nothing too bright or sparkly. Try a clear coat or a light nude. It really depends on the industry you are going into though. Fashion/art environments will welcome shows of personality in your style, but business/government types expect a more conservative overall appearance. Look into the company you are interested in. Figure out how the successful people in the organization dress and style themselves and use them as your model to create your own personal look.
