Job Interview Tips - How to Showcase Your Talents Confidently

Recommended Answer:
You can handle it if you help yourself a little. No coffee/coke on the day. And do some breathing exercise just before the interview, breath in to the point where you stomach is expending, keep it in for 5 seconds then slowly breathe out. While mentally you will still remain nervous, your body will not let you down as it will be more relaxed

Some Sound Job Interview Advice

  • I went through this 3 months ago. Just relax. And if it gets to the point where the anxiety is affecting you during the interview. Be honest. What I did was informed the interviewer that I was excited to have the opportunity to be considered for the position and was excited to start a new and Exciting chapter in my life.
Hope this helps. I know it works

  • I have recently had a ton of experience interviewing for positions. I get nervous every time. Once I was so nervous I was practically shaking. I recommend jogging in place or jumping jacks to get rid of some of that nervous energy. Practice deep breathing as well.

  • don't eat anything before the interview. when i eat before something that i know im going to be nervous for i feel nauseous which makes me want to throw up

  • I was no whiz kid but in my younger days I never worried about a job interview. I figured there were hundreds of employers out there & if this fellow wouldn't hire me it was his loss, not mine.

As long as they are not jeans that are too big so they fall down past your butt, you're fine but for top. Go for a blank tee or shirt that isn't too much.

    Common Job Interview Mistakes

    Recommended Answer:
No jeans. I would suggest something appropriate for a business/office type environment so slacks or skirt (not short/above the knee) and blouse/sweater. Tasteful jewelry and heels (it's fine if they are open toed or boots but not TOO high). If you submitted your resume originally, bring it with you just in case the person interviewing doesn't have a copy but also it's nice to have a copy of it in front of you to help remember details about your previous experience.

Job Interview Skills: What Does The Employer Want To Hear?

    • Dress neatly and conservatively. You want to project the best possible image of yourself, so plan and prepare a neat, businesslike outfit. You can't go wrong with a business suit. Even if the company has explicitly stated that it's a “business casual” workplace, stick with the suit. An interview is not the time to express your unique fashion sense; it's the time to show you know when it's time to follow the rules and traditions of business.

      Good luck :-)

    • wear either dress pants or a dress skirt (to or below the knee). wear a nice blouse. wear heels. one inch boots are fine, as long as they're classy. do NOT wear jeans to an interview. and please, no cleavage. and if you wear make up, don't wear like purple eye shadow. keep it classy.

    • I know I took my license and social secuity card to my interview. It was my first job so I didn't have a resumer. Idk if this will help bc I'm a guy but I wore fress shoes, dress pants and a polo from American Eagle

    • Just a formal dress.

    Recommended Answer:
The purpose of a job interview is to enable a prospective employer a chance to get to know a little about you and if you would be a good fit for the job. So you should present the best impression of yourself and you skills as possible. It may help to think of your job interview as your first conversation with someone you want to be your friend. Most likely you would smile, be mannerly, listen to what they are saying and be agreeable. When it comes to discussing your skills and work habits you want to convince that person that you are hardworking and dependable, a quick learner and interested forming a mutual beneficial partnership. Job Interview Questions: What kind of outfit should I wear to a sales associate job interview?

I have a job interview with the Belk department store on Wednesday. What would be a good outfit to wear that would get me the job? Thank you.

Job Interview Advice: What Is The Best Time Slot for a Job Interview?

    Recommended Answer:
In the past, when applying to a sales associate position I've always gone with: 1) non-jeans (usually a pair of black pants) and 2) depending on the weather a nice button down or sweater and light jewelry. Take a look at what other associates are wearing and try to match the style. If they're dressing more trendy, feel free to get more creative. If they're much more conservative, then lean towards being more conservative. And when in doubt, overdress a little (but a suit would probably be overkill).

Critical Mistakes To Avoid at Job Interview

    • People generally advise you to dress up at least two levels higher than the current job for which you are appearing. It will create a good first impression. Never wear blue jeans while attending a job interview. The jeans may be expensive, but jeans are immediately frowned upon at interviews. Casual job interview attire is not advisable if you are serious in getting the job. The general rule is to opt for conservative shades and designs. Bright checked shirts, loud colored blouses, and odd designed dresses are not to be worn at all.

    • Nice dress pants, a nice shirt -- buttondown or otherwise, just make sure it's a nice shirt -- heels. For a lot of interviews, I would suggest a dress, but I felt like that wouldn't be the right fit for this job interview.

    • I would wear one of those executive suits type things that girls wear. Im not completely sure what they are called, but they are cute and professional. Try with a black shoe and a little hand bag.

    • a blouse and a high waisted skirt that will go over it with high heels
make it simple not too over the top
make sure the colours match too
      hope its good?!

    • Be sure to wear pantyhose if you want to get the job.

    • wear classy black top and pants. don't come in jeans of a tshirt. wear black high heels with it too.

    • Smart/Casual. Black trousers, a nice black top etc.

    • A pencil skirt black tights and a button down blouse. Oh yeah and a blazer
