Job Interview Skills - How To Answer Job Interview Questions

  • congrats Monica don't be scared my dear we've all had our first jobs and the burger joint will realize this as well they are use to hiring young people as they start out. My first job as a kid was a burger joint too. Mainly what they will be looking for is that your eager to learn. you will be flexible with the shifts they offer you many will say this includes friday sat. and sundays. Don'tsay oh thats not good im busy or i want to go out with friends. You won't have to work all the weekend and most likely rotate with the other staff members. Dress well clean looking . not to much makeup or crazy kid wear clothing dress appropriate for an interview . Let them know your eager to learn as well. and thats your a fast learner or once your shown something you can do it. You enjoy helping the public and your a responsible young person.

Practice at home if you like get your parents to help out if there not around do it yourself. in your bedroom or where ever. Look the interviewer in the eye.take a moment to anwer there question. don't fidget or look around like your not in the interview. stay focused to what they are telling you and its good to ask questions too that pertain to the job shows your interested and paying attention. smile of course and be polite shake hands.

    Good luck you'll do great.!

Job Interview Questions: Job Interview- Should you wait in line to ask for manager or go to the front?

When you go in for the interview, what if there is a line up at the cash. Should you just go to the front of the line and ask for the manager or should you be late and wait in line?

The Importance of Great Job Interview Answers

Recommended Answer:
If i were you , i will come earlier for the job interview.
But let say if there is a line up at the cash, i will wait in the line. Even though you are not the customer in the shop, you must possess a good attitude and be patient in what you are doing. Who know the manager will use his or her staff to observe you and you might not know this. Mostly those interviewee will dress in formal way and they (the workers) will suspect you that you are going for the interviews.

Anyways, no harm trying to be patient. After all, punctuality and patient is virtue.

Remember, must dress smart and be confidence during the interview. Good Luck :D

Job Interview Questions: Did I make a fatal goof in job interview?

Well, I feel like a total doofus :(
Feel free to agree with me.
I went for a job interview for Dunkin Donuts. When asked "what is your weakest point" I wasn't ready for that. Should say something like, "I'm a perfectionist" etc, that sounds okay. Instead I said, well math isn't my strong point. Face palm. I wish wish wish I had not said that. Strong point, I said reliability and flexibility, happy to work extra hours on short notice.

    • I wouldnt worry. They might not put you in charge of the cash register now....but maybe they will just watch you to see how you do before trusting you with it.

    • Wrong. "Perfectionist" is the worst thing you could say. "Bad at math" isn't great but it's a lot better.

Job Interview Questions: Do you bring your letter of recommendation to the job interview?

or do you submit it along with your resume online when applying for the job?

Job Interview Dress Code - Dressing for Success

    Recommended Answer:
You should first ask if they want or need one in the first place. Then you can ask the recruiter if you should submit it w/ the application and resume. It's always a good idea to bring the letter and extra resume copies to your interview, then offer them to your interviewer.

Job Interview Questions: What to expect on a second job interview (for nursing)?

I have a second LVN job interview for an extended living facility in the rehab unit. Any advice on what to expect ? I am a new grad and have no idea what to expect??

    Self-Speaking Lies About Job Interviews

    Recommended Answer:
The person who will interview you will most likely be a person who has more responsibility (i.e. higher up) than the first interview. At this time, the first interviewer probably have already told this one that, "This young man is a new grad. He seemed nice and polite. I think he will fit in well here." (or something like that.)

So just go in and relax. If you are asked about anything you don't know (for example, a medical question)--don't make it up. Be honest and say, I don't know, but I will find out. (No one knows everything and for a nurse, every day is a learning experience no matter how long he or she has been one.)

Get to the place a bit early. Sit in your car and relax a bit. Take a few deep breaths before you go inside. Don't forget your copy of resume. Since this is your first job--take the offer (when they give you one) thankfully, and if you find it boring / tedious--try to stay at least a year before you look for another job.

    Good luck!
