Job Interview Skills - How To Answer Job Interview Questions

    • congrats Monica don't be scared my dear we've all had our first jobs and the burger joint will realize this as well they are use to hiring young people as they start out. My first job as a kid was a burger joint too. Mainly what they will be looking for is that your eager to learn. you will be flexible with the shifts they offer you many will say this includes friday sat. and sundays. Don'tsay oh thats not good im busy or i want to go out with friends. You won't have to work all the weekend and most likely rotate with the other staff members. Dress well clean looking . not to much makeup or crazy kid wear clothing dress appropriate for an interview . Let them know your eager to learn as well. and thats your a fast learner or once your shown something you can do it. You enjoy helping the public and your a responsible young person.

Practice at home if you like get your parents to help out if there not around do it yourself. in your bedroom or where ever. Look the interviewer in the eye.take a moment to anwer there question. don't fidget or look around like your not in the interview. stay focused to what they are telling you and its good to ask questions too that pertain to the job shows your interested and paying attention. smile of course and be polite shake hands.

      Good luck you'll do great.!

Like 'What is your favorite memory?' or 'Who is your hero?' or maybe even about past relationships or regrets. It might unleash things you didn't know about your character, like that people who left a mark on their life or those little experiences that make them who they are, whether is joyful or full of egoism. You know that little odd thing of the character that make us all readers fall in love with him/her.

    • Um, either I'm extremely tired, or seriously confused...

What questions exactly are you looking for? Do you mean character profile questions?

Job Interview Questions: Bringing your resume to a job interview?

hi, I know that there's a rule saying you should bring enough copies of your resume for each person interviewing you. My concern is that, it seems like such a waste of paper, I mean, for instance I would bring 3 resumes that are tailored for a specific position, and after the job interview is done, I'd have to throw them away because they wouldn't be tailored for any other positions I apply for in the future. Does anyone have any input? thanks so much

      Special Job Interview Considerations

      Recommended Answer:
you should bring enough copies for each person interviewing you. They want to be able to have something to look at on hand in order to reference your qualifications. They will most likely keep these after the interview not give them back to you to deal with.

It's just one of those things. Yes it is wasteful, but it shows that you are prepared and in the long run if you have to be a little wasteful in order to get a job it's what you have to do.

A List of Tough Job Interview Questions For Tough Times

      • Use the copies you don't need for scarp paper at home. a rim of paper is less then 10.00 a job is worth alot more then a piece of paper.

always bring a resume one time I did not for I forgot it on the kitchen table the guy literally rolled his eyes at me , needless to say I did not get the job and with his reaction did not want to work for him anyway. always bring the copies in other words. good luck in your job search

      • save the trees. don't print resumes. don't bother bringing your resume to your interview.

in fact, don't even go to the interview. you'll harm the environment when you drive your car to the office.

        don't waste anyone's time

      • Your attitude is a problem IMO. What is 3 sheets of paper to get a job. Even if you print a ream of paper, what is the costs vs what is your gain?

      • So you would risk the possibility of work because you dont want to waste paper?

Dont worry about the paper, and just take enough copies!

        Good Luck x

      • Sheesh! How much does a couple pieces of paper really cost?

Job Interview Questions: What to expect on a second job interview (for nursing)?

I have a second LVN job interview for an extended living facility in the rehab unit. Any advice on what to expect ? I am a new grad and have no idea what to expect??

      Self-Speaking Lies About Job Interviews

      Recommended Answer:
The person who will interview you will most likely be a person who has more responsibility (i.e. higher up) than the first interview. At this time, the first interviewer probably have already told this one that, "This young man is a new grad. He seemed nice and polite. I think he will fit in well here." (or something like that.)

So just go in and relax. If you are asked about anything you don't know (for example, a medical question)--don't make it up. Be honest and say, I don't know, but I will find out. (No one knows everything and for a nurse, every day is a learning experience no matter how long he or she has been one.)

Get to the place a bit early. Sit in your car and relax a bit. Take a few deep breaths before you go inside. Don't forget your copy of resume. Since this is your first job--take the offer (when they give you one) thankfully, and if you find it boring / tedious--try to stay at least a year before you look for another job.

      Good luck!
